Welcome! Have you read any of Sanderson's other books? This is a great place to discuss SA theories, but beware for spoilers for some of his other books if you go lurking too much.

Hey thanks! I have read the Mistborn trilogy and Wheel of Time (though I believe he only co-wrote in 3 or 4 of those books).

I definitely want to jump into other books of his as I really like his writing style.

Thanks! Kaladin is by far my favorite character right now. I loved his development from being an apprentice doctor to a soldier in Amaram's army to taking down a shardbearer to becoming a bridgeman in Sadeas' army to eventually discovering he was a windrunner Radiant. So cool!

Though Dalinar bonding the Stormfather might have been the most epic thing to happen so far.

Once you're done with Oathbringer, I'd recommend reading Warbreaker next. You can find it for free on Brandon's website. Also, did you know that there's a sequel series to Mistborn? It's set 300 years after the end of the first trilogy and it happens during the industrial revolution on Scadrial, the planet Mistborn takes place on. Guns+allomancy=awesomeness.

The Mods tend to get angry, as it can be seen as spamming. But they're pretty lenient on the new people. Usually all they'll do anyway is ask you to stop, or remove some of the posts if it's seen as spamming. Only after repeated occurrences, will they start to really freak out at you. So you should be pretty safe for now. @ejberkenpas22

It might be wise to review the site rules here. As long as you don't try to do any of those things, you'll be fine. The 17th Shard's an amazing place!
