Dalinar's Blade and Hoid's Love Interest

Two things! Both spoilery. Don't know why you're here if you dont want spoilers.

First thing: Dalinar has Taln's blade, yes? Is it not an Honorblade? I'm very confused about this

Second thing: When Hoid makes the joke about women his age, he's almost definitely referring to Nazh or Khryss (whichever of them is female, I think Nazh), not Cultivation. We see their disagreement in several chapter headers.

First: Someone, we don't know must have switched the blades on the trip to the shattered Plains. Most people thought it was hoid but that was debunked in a WoB so nobody really knows where talns honor blade is. Maybe he still has it and it just isn't summoned.

Second: I think hoid was just making a joke here. Since hoid is probably 5000 years old (maybe more) the only person on Roshar that would be his age would be cultivation and he seemed to think the thought of then together was funny. Possibly some bad blood between the two or maybe he asked for a boon and was denied?

That's the thing - we know from the intel she's gathering that Nazh is also on Roshar. And we know for a fact that they disagree on the topic of interference. That's why I think it's far more likely that he's referencing her and not Cultivation.

Note: We have WoB that Nazh knows about as much as Hoid about the cosmere, with only "Khryss" knowing more. That's why I assume she is the same age.

And good to know about the Blade. That one really tripped me up. Kept expecting Dalinar to manifest abilities, then he bonded the Stormfather at the end and I just gave up trying to figure it all out.

The thing is, there is something VERY fishy about "Taln" ... This is the answer we got from Brandon at the Dayton signing:

Luke: Are the Heralds actually aware that Taln is back?

Brandon: Are the Heralds aware that Taln is back? Uh, you’re implying that this person actually is Taln. [The smile on Brandon’s face at this moment was the best, most excruciatingly awful smile ever. And we thought Peter was a tease.] Which is not guaranteed. It’s not guaranteed. However, the return of the Voidbringers does indeed indicate to them, in their mind, that he would have returned.

Me: So they assume because the Voidbringers are returning--

Brandon: Because the Voidbringers are returning, would be a clue to them that Taln has returned.

I have no idea what's going on, but it really throws Taln's identity into question. People have been speculating that the man who arrived at the end of TWoK is different from the Taln we see in WoR.

You do know Nazh isn't the recipient of the letter, right? We have WoB that the recipient is a dragon (most likely from Dragonsteel). We really don't know if Nazh and Hoid are opposed. All we know is that Nazh goes around making maps and sketching Bridgemen tattoos. Also, Nazh is a guy. We see him as a weird ardent sketching the bridgemen before being ushered away.

And Khryss is apparently the female protagonist of White Sand– which makes it very unlikely she is anywhere near as old as Hoid. How she's so knowledgeable is a mystery.
