My current rep goal is to pass zas678 - the highest inactive poster other than Brandon. 500 here I come.

My secondary rep goal is to be the highest rep poster who posts most frequently in Cosmere Theories. That means overtaking Outis, Weiry, Observer, and Windy - a tough task.

Incidentally, the forum average is about 50% rep to post ratio, or so I calculated once back in March. I was proud of my 75% ratio for a while... Chaos and the other 2011ers get a pass, as rep allocation has significantly changed over time. (possibly because the rep system wasn't introduced for a good long while...)

At least I maintain more than 50% rep to post! You're running about 34% currently. I win!  :P

You keep telling that to yourself while I hoard my post count and reputation count ;)

Swimmingly, I will get my vengeance upon you soon. You sure you don't want me to arbitrarily lower your rep by, say, five hundred or so?

Query: quantity... - quality? Quick querulous quips; qualified questions?

And I believe that that would be a cruel and unusual abuse of the system. Despite this, I still don't think you should go through with any suggestions that include the word "arbitrary" in it.

So much QQing going on there :P

Quit littering with your little lip full of alliteration.

That gave me flashbacks of Knights of the Old Republic. HK-47 was such an entertaining droid. Anyone else? No? Okay then.

Every meatbag should be a fan of HK-47. He was one of the best characters in that game.

Harumph. All you young hares, springing ahead by leaps and bounds in rep while wise old tortoises like Tempus and I plod along bravely, taking positions step by step, slowly, surely. For as prophecy dictates, it is He Who Is Slow and Steady that will find himself the Victor of the Race.

Come to think of it... knightblood reminds me a lot of HK-47.

Case in point:

"Statement: Indeed, I am most eager to engage in some unadulterated violence. At your command of course, Master."

This was one of my favorite quotes:

"Statement: I have already learned a great deal, master, and I am anxious to learn more of lying, betrayal, and new ways to harm innocents."

And this one sounds like he would be good friends with Lift:

"Observation: I am awesome."

I'll stop now... just agreeing with Chaos that he was one of the best star wars characters ever.

We need some Nightblood and KOTOR fanfic right now, ASAP. That's brilliant.

You have old eyes, sir. Old eyes for one so young. I can only see one of them, though.

While your trajectory may be converging to the same place, it always helps if your first derivative is much higher than the rest if you hope to get there first ;)

Though I guess none of us will ever get to infinity first, per se, so it's a moot point.

Well, you could give someone a little 'infinity' symbol on their rep bar with a bit of fiddling, couldn't you?

Tsk tsk, infinity is not a real number and I shall not be so heinous as to pretend act as though it is :P (That's how you get silly algebra like infinity - infinity = zero, which makes no sense because infinity isn't even a number, so you can't do subtraction on it)

Uh... so I have a math master's now, in case you didn't know. :P

That's why I hadn't been on much--I've been busy. (That and Guild Wars 2, but never mind that.) But you'll see much much more of me now :D

I'd just like to point out, before you put on your math masters high hat, that swim never actually said 'infinity' was a number. In fact, you were the one who brought up the idea of people converging on infinity.  ;)

Oh... congratulations as well I guess.

Psh, he suggested that a variable, like say, someone's reputation level, be equal to infinity, which is quite heinous. He gets a -1 on his quiz and me saying "very bad notation, see me" on it :P

-1 is occasionally used to denote infinity or NaN for variables, yes.

You know who else gets a red mark? RASHEK! Sliver of infinity my fin, he just implied that he's a real fraction of a mathematical concept!

Yes, we all had it at one point. It came right after 7.

I bow to your Awesome wisdom.

And may I join you? You don't get much older or wiser than the Grey Pilgrim.
