Popular Post fastlindyrick he/him Posted March 21, 2014 Popular Post Posted March 21, 2014 In case you haven't seen it on Facebook yet, I created a lego version of the shattered plains, specifically the Battle of the Tower: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10203527555737570.1073741830.1474667500&type=1&l=d7de9ddc50 I'd like to thank 17th Sharders Windrunner, Natans, hoser, eveorjoy, deddinty, and Inkthinker for the forum discussion of appropriate colors a few months back. I need something else to do now that that's done, so I'm open to suggestions. 47
bartbug he/him Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Give all the upvotes! Seriously, this is great. 1
Mysty she/her Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That's amazing! I love it! Did you already have these legos or did you have to go out and buy them special?
Colby Jack he/him Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 With a lego set today costing as much as a used car, this must've cost you quite a bit! Instant like! 1
fastlindyrick he/him Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Mysty and Colby Jack: I had most of the parts that you can't see, which form the structural support, as well as about half of the minifigures. I had to buy all of the dark tan peices, the parshendi, and the shardbearers. I probably paid about $500 total; the Parshendi were the worst, since those pieces are quite rare. But now I can re-use them for scenes from the rest of the series. 1
Green Hoodie Mistborn he/him Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Love it and way to go!! This ranks up there with the guy who had a fake "Book of Endless Pages" dust jacket printed for the WoR signing in cleverness, but WAY surpasses it for dedication and work!!

You can fill half a bookshelf if you stick to softcovers. 1
RhyssaFireheart she/her Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That had to be a lot of work and it's incredibly awesome! Well done, sir!
fastlindyrick he/him Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Yesterday I added some photos of a chasmfiend if anyone is interested... 8
Baine he/him Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 You need to post more so I can upvote you more! AWESOME!
Quiver he/him Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Well, this settles it. The Plains were Shattered when someone stepped on them in the dark. 6

Having said that, dude, you need a girlfriend. 1

Having said that, dude, you need a girlfriend. Ha! Actually I'm married to a gorgeous redhead who has her own (much smaller) collection of Legos. I can't get her to read Sanderson, though, so she's almost, but not quite, perfect. 5

Ailessar Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I love the minifigures, they're perfect, you've even got Renarin and his spectacles. Seriously, that's exactly how I imagined Kaladin. I'd give you an upvote for each minifigure if I could. And the chasmfiend is wonderful! Next step -- Stormlight Archives: the Lego Movie. 3
