[OB] Godmetals

Do all of the godmetals tie into their respective magic systems or any magic system? Like would each of them have some Allomantic or Feruchemical properties, or just lerasium and atium? Also do we know if it was a godmetal that Hoid/Wit gave Azure in Oathbringer to shield the Soulcaster signal or what godmetal that may be? I really just don't understand the godmetals. Please help.

They do seem to tie into their own magic systems, since lerasium and atium can be burned. And the Shardblades are godmetals of Honor and Cultivation. An Allomancer would have to be Connected to the Shard in the right way to be able to burn that metal, though. They wouldn't be able to do it natively.

Hoid gave Azure aluminum, because it blocks investiture, so it shielded the room from being sensed by the Fused.

A shardblade is invested. A Mistborn isn't likely to have a tie to that type of Investiture. So probably nothing would happen…

Let's just say it's not a coincidence that you find Investiture manifesting as metal on other places. Such as Shardblades, as well.

Yeah, the metal in that scene of Oathbringer is aluminum, which acts as an Investiture-sink across the Cosmere. It's the same metal that people on Sel call Ralkalest ('the unForgeable metal') and which Nightblood's sheath is made of among other examples.

We do (almost certainly) see a new godmetal in Oathbringer however. Pay attention to a certain metal implement that appears near the end of the book and note the color it's described as having. And as RShara mentions, Shardblades are confirmed to be godmetal as well, presumably some mix of 'Tanavastium' (name not canonized but likely) and whatever Cultivation's godemtal is called. And by extension, the Honorblades are likely to be pure Tanavastium.
