Chrono order of Allomancer Jak and the Pits of Eltania

How does the Allomancer Jak story fit in the Cosmere chronological wise?

Do the events in the story happen after Alloy of Law and before Shadows of Self? Or somewhere else?

no idea, although they are roughly contemporary with the second trilogy.

A better question, however, is what actually happened there

I think before the main story, but during Wax's time in the Roughs. He mentions Jak and how he's actually been to the Roughs. Combine with the contemporary stories in the broadsheets (like mention of the Breaknaughf) and his adventures must have happened before Alloy of Law. Though the Nicki Savage story in BoM that he lent his publicity to seems to have taken place around the time of that book, given the presence of Khriss and Nazh in New Seran at that time.
