Hello all,

I, like many of you was introduced to Brandon through TWOT back in 2010. I took a few years off reading other books before I made my way back to Brandon. I really regret it. I picked up the Mistborn series in 2016 and I have since read every Cosmere book twice. This concept is so intriguing to me that I find myself thinking about the Cosmere often throughout my day. I know that there is so much to learn from other readers here so I look forward to interacting with all of you.

Welcome! Have an upvote! Who is your favorite character and book? Also, don't forget to check social groups, clans, and guilds, joining a guild, like TUBA, the DA, the Liebrary, or The New Ghostbloods are really fun to participate in. If you like to Roleplay check out that section, crazy things are happening in the Alleyverse.

Welcome, who are some of your facorite chracters.  I love to talk about characters.  Right now I really love Sazed.

Also don’t repeat anything about life and breath back to anyone.  Unless you’re selling your breath and then tell me, because I might be intresated in buying.  However people like @ElephantEarwax are just trying to steal your soul without giving you anything in return.

no this time its not about the cookie, but the stealing of Breath.  if you want Breath just pay people for it. no need to be a thief.

It's not thievery if they don't know. :P Right @MistGyorn?

Thanks to everyone for the upvotes. I just finished re-reading Warbreaker so while I may be new I am not so new as to see my breath's value as equivalent to that of a single cookie. Three or four maybe.

My favorite character right now is a tie between Wax and Wayne. Those two are so perfectly opposite that they fit together like puzzle pieces and truly seem to get out of the most impossible situations. The complete trust that the have in one another is inspiring.

May favorite book is probably Oathbringer because of the amount of information contained in it. It is such a fantastic set-up book.

Sazed is a great character, though I have always struggled with the "slow to act" mentality of the Terris people. It is great for the book and sets up perfectly for his ascension to Harmony, but my brain wants characters with great power to use it.

I think Sazed does use Harmony’s power, but I get what you mean.  He doesn’t use it to the full extend of the power.  I recently wrote a whole paper on Sazed and it was fun.  I’m going to post it on here sometime soon.

I agree that Wax and Wayne are fantastic. I love Wayne with his hats.

It's not just Sazed, but all of the Terris people. Feruchemist have so much potential and yet they are so docile. I don't know how much of that goes back to pre-Final Empire and how much is forced upon them as they were hunted down and killed, but in a world of Emporors and Conquerors the Feruchemists could really make a big difference. As we saw with Sazed and Tindwyl.

For me it was the complete opposite.  I only found out about The Wheel of Time because Brandon Sanderson was chosen to finish it.  I read the whole series just because the last three books were written by Sanderson. :D Turned out that I liked the books though, so I'm happy.  (Except maybe Crossroads of Twilight.  Seriously, it felt like nothing happened for the entire book.  Just the characters thinking about their problems, and taking ineffectual actions to solve those problems.  Am I the only one?)

You are absolutely not alone. I think there are about 2000 pages of that series that could be removed and the series wouldn't lose much. Sanderson did a great job of bringing it all together in the end though.
