Xtafa
If the landmasses are made of crem and not soil/rock. How is the continent not falling apart from the ocean. It is known that the continent is also drifting slowly across Roshar due to the crem construction and not having a tectonic attachment such as Earth. Is this for ALL land masses or just the main one? If it keeps drifting, will it eventually collide with the land mass on the opposite side of the planet?

Crem covers most of the continent, but it is still a continent with solid base etc. (Hand made by Adonalsium: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/131-general-reddit-2016/#e3953 ) 3 hours ago, Xtafa said: If it keeps drifting, will it eventually collide with the land mass on the opposite side of the planet? There is only one land mass as far as we know.

Adonalsium, rather than natural forces, created it and b.) crem exists. This leads to some minor inconsistencies that annoy the crap out of me, and will probably annoy you too. I meant commonly accepted scientific natural forces, plate tectonics and etc. I don't know whether to include deities or not as natural forces, so I just left Adonalsium out. It's not a theory. Quote Overlord Jebus [PENDING REVIEW] Was just the continent of Roshar created by Adonalsium or was the whole system created? Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW] Whole system was created. source This is also what the letters between Hoid and Frost refer to about the "Artifice" of Roshar. It is an engineered world. The continent of Roshar's shape is a clue towards this. Quote Questioner (paraphrased) Has anyone figured out what the secret in the map was, in Words of Radiance? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Yeah, they have. That it's modeled after the Julia Set. Which is meant to indicate that Roshar was designed specifically. AndrewStirlingMacDonald (paraphrased) Did it happen through crem buildup? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) No. source Edited April 25, 2018 by Calderis
