Ink he/him Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Is it possible for a spren to travel between systems if bonded to a Parshendi, and residing in its gemheart? I know they can't normally travel outside the rosharian system, but would this be a special case or would they still be stuck?
0 SteelFire he/him Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I'm not 100% sure. Is there perpendicularity within the gemhearts. If this is not the case then they should be unable to travel to different system. I'm not sure if the stormlight within the gemstone would change anything.
0 Toaster Retribution he/him Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Interesting... I suck at Realmatic theory, but since they are captured and stuck inside a physical object, I would say yes. At least until Calderis/Extesian/RShara/someone else gets here and tells me I'm wrong.
0 RShara she/her Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Unknown, but I feel like it would be more complicated than trapping a spren in a gem and carrying it off.
0 Ink he/him Posted April 20, 2018 Author Posted April 20, 2018 (edited) Let's say the Parshendi has a Nahel Bond with that spren. Does that change anything? Edited April 20, 2018 by Quell
0 Zelly Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Gemhearts as spren spaceships. I'll accept it. Not a spoiler, per se, but for Oathbringer: Spoiler We really don't know enough about Parshendi Nahel Bonds to make good guess work. But a true gemheart, as in literally bound and inside an organism....hmmm it's a interesting question.
