firstmurf Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Starting this topic for a few reasons. The first is to share a few pics of some of the incredible loot/swag that has been released over the years. I haven't seen images of some of the items I have on the forum or even google so I thought others might like to see them. My personal favourite Sanderloot is still the Szeth cut-out but the Assassin and Warrior tokens from GenCon look amazing. Another is to see what else I am missing from the collection. I know I am missing a few items like the Rithmatist chalk bag, Windrunner pin, Obliteration cut-out and WoK epic bookmark but it would be great if someone would post images of these items and any other Sanderloot they have. Located in Australia, all the books are hardcover first/first and all but Edgedancer and HoA are signed. All 3 Leatherbounds are numbered and so are BoM, AU, Oathbringer, Legion + Skin Deep and Snapshot. Mistborn and WoA both have early style signatures. 15
The Forgetful Archivist he/him Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 One of my favorites is the Mistborn Santa. 3
Khyrindor he/him Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Amazing collection! I might rival you in signed books, but you definitely have me beat with paraphernalia! I especially like the pins, very nice. Do you have any of the vials of metal you can buy of Sanderson's shop?
firstmurf Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 The vials of metals are on my wish list. The postage is very high to Australia so I will have to wait until I get back to the US. The Christmas cards are very nice and the quality of card and printing is beautiful. I have the other 2 designs.
Weltall Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 A am in awe of your swag collection. All I've got of that is the books (excluding leatherbounds and some of the special runs like Defending Elysium), the earphones, the SoS/BoM broadsheets and the Roshar map. I hoped I could at least have one thing over you (the Stormlight Archive booklet that was released on Independent Bookstore Day two years back but... you've got that too.

Some of those special runs have been hard to find. Would love to add Infinity Blade to the collection but the last one I found on Ebay was around $500 which is way out of my price range. Forgot to add a pic of my extras draw. Except for the Wheel of Time goodies, some of the items might be available to swap if you have something I don't. 2

It is there, but only in the main book cabinet image. Didn't include a solo shot of that shelf. The book is very special to me because it was my first book signing event (Seattle University Bookstore) and the first time I meet Brandon. 1
Farnsworth Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 How did you get the Vin assassin card? I've been looking all over for that!

I was constantly checking ebay daily during the GenCon event and for a few weeks after just on the odd chance that someone would list one but I guess everyone loved them. I have not seen a single one listed anywhere and I can't blame them because the Steve Argyle artwork of Vin is amazing. Eventually I was lucky enough to have a friend give me the Assassin and Warrior tokens they had. Very Very Lucky.
Iron_Ape he/him Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 You've got an extremely admirable collection. And you're in Australia as well! ..... Would you mind if I just came and....sat in front of it for a while? 3

ThoseArentTheWords Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 What is the small pamphlet you have to the right of Oathbringer? I have one but don't know what it is. 1
Iarwainiel I she/her Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Amazing collection!!!! Thanks for sharing! One of my big regrets is not asking Brandon for a Lightweaver pin at the Dayton stop on his tour for Words of Radiance. He was giving them out to everyone who did cosplay, but I didn't have time to 'cause I was the "tour archivist" for that stop & was busy coordinating that. (Fans wrote him personal notes on Stormlight-themed notecards, and I forwarded them to a lady who collected notes from the entire tour into a couple scrapbooks - it was awesome! I printed the cards, passed them out, collected them, etc., plus shipping them. I also made a boatload of red streamers for people to wave when Brandon arrived; at that point, none of us realized that Anticipation Spren shouldn't be waving around up in the air, but oh well - it was fun to do.) So I bet he'd have given me a pin if I'd asked. At this point, there's no way to get one (I asked Peter's wife), so my set of pins will never be complete.

It's grown a bit in the last 2 years. A tour archivist...sounds great, I would love to get involved with any of the tours one day. Unlucky about the Lightweaver pin but don't lose heart in tracking one down. The pins were an obsession for me and after 5 years of searching I have them all now. They don't come along often but I did find one on ebay and one on Facebook so try setting up some key word searches, you might get lucky like me. 2
Iarwainiel I she/her Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 @firstmurf - Thanks for the encouragement!
Istiban Posted February 17, 2020 Posted February 17, 2020 (edited) A friend printed for me, now just need painting Edited February 17, 2020 by Istiban
Vayne Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Where did you get the white Cosmere symbol pin and the Bridge 4 pin? It seems like these are older, but no one I've talked to remembers how they got them.
