Hello, I hope you're all having a fantastically blessed awesome day.

If you're not, then lets hope it at least gets better.

Welcome to the Shard. Have a cookie.

For initiation, could you repeat the phrase, "My life to yours, My Breath become yours."?

What is you favorite book?

Welcome, I hope you have a good day too! The forums are looking pretty tropical, I mean topical, today. Lots of topics.

I'm going postal, I mean I'll go post.

I will only give my breath if I am given a bead of Lerasium and enough Scadrian Investiture to make sure it works in return.  Payment of breath shall be payable after I have successfully burned successfully at least tin and pewter and felt their effects.

Elantris is probably my favorite book from a pure single book standpoint.  I think the Reckoners series was the most fun as a whole, the Rithmatist shows  good potential, and  I do like the Wax and Wayne series a ton as well.  Funnily enough despite me liking it quite a bit, the original Mistborn trilogy is my least favorite Sanderson work taken as a whole that I've read.  Still need to read Stormlight.

The original Mistborn series was really good. I think Stormlight, being written later, is better in a few ways (like character development and a couple other things).

How’d you get into Sanderson’s works?

Had a cousin who is a cool dude and a fantasy fan who convinced my brother to listen to the audio book of Mistborn.  My brother generally doesn't read books often (understatement).   He's listened now to Mistborn, the Name of the Wind, and Dresden Files on audiobook.  Outside of that I don't think he's read more than a half dozen other books that weren't school assignments in his life, and he's a college grad.  The fact that he was convinced to listen to this meant that I had a very good excuse to read Mistborn as I would be able to talk about the series with my brother.  This got me to read Mistborn, and I liked his style enough I gave his other stuff a shot, as I'm the type of guy who reads a crap ton of stuff.
