Need more!  I am addicted to these awesome reactions that make me remember how much I loved my first readthrough (currently starting my 1st re-read)

 

Yes yes, I know real life gets in the way, but surely spending hours laboring away editing audio recordings for the idle gratification of strangers ought to take priority over all more important commitments?  :-)

Well, at the moment Audacity is giving me hell. :c Sorry guys, but I've gotta fix these bugs. Everytime I try to edit, it randomly deletes snatches of my recording which is DEFINITELY not good. I've gotten the next two done, but this third one is fighting me hard. I'm gonna try to fiddle with it tomorrow, okay? Sorry about the delays on these!

I've got four days of finals and then I'm home free! I'll probably be binge-editing the rest of these once I'm on break, though as soon as Chaos is feeling better, I've sent him the next few so that he can upload them. I just don't want y'all to be waiting on me! 

 

...I feel like this is now a fun game that Chaos and I play. "Who-is-to-blame-for-late-Splintercast" tennis. Of course, I'm a jerk who will edit a bunch and then immediately turn around and yell "OKAY NOW THEY'RE WAITING ON YOOOOU! YOU'RE IT!" Hey, fandom monster, and all that, right?

Are these not on iTunes? I couldn't find them. I want to listen, but I know I never will unless I can do it on my commute, which is so much easier to pull off if they're on iTunes.

 

I don't know how putting podcasts on iTunes works, but how hard could it be? (This is me volunteering BTW. This is how I volunteer-by taunting murphy.)

Oh harmony... I hadn't even conisdered iTunes. I have no idea how to publish things over there and... I'm not sure what to think about the idea of my craziness being over on something official like that. Right now they're just here and I don't know that we have any plans to publish them elsewhere.

Don't sell yourself short. There are a ton of podcasts of fans of things geeking out about them, all on iTunes. Just because it's "official" doesn't mean it should be intimidating.

The problem is that in IPB proper there is no convenient way to make a podcast feed for iTunes or other services. I know how I'd want to do it, theoretically. I'd need to make a Wordpress mirror site and post each podcast entry there, and Wordpress has an easy exporter for podcasts. That's probably what I'll do by the end of this month, once Splintercast is done. I need to edit the metadata for some of the earlier Splintercasts, so I might as well do it at once.
