Air Sick
Does anyone else find it strange that this very recently published book seems to have an amazing amount of information regarding the Unmade? I don't have OB in front of me to pull from at the moment, but the book is new enough to have quoted Jasnah's research and Shallan is amazed at the detail unveiled in the Mythica. Even Mr. T doesn't appear to be this well informed. How did Hessi come to become so knowledgeable on the subject? Or is there a very simple answer that I glossed over?

The simple, boring, answer is that someone's done their research. Hessi describes her process (Possibly taking many years) of going through histories, folktales, and religous literature concerning Unmade and comparing them to historical and recent events. She compares Ashertmarns influence to a historical event (Can't find RN). I assume she is a Veristatillian (Jasnah is one). The more fun one is that she is a worldhopper, probably someone like Khriss (It might actually be Khriss)
Frostlander
I'm really hoping it's Kaladin's mother, Hesina. She's intelligent, religious, apparently from a higher social class, the book was not well received when published, and it would be a fun crackpot theory. Of course, she'd have to be referring to one of Jasnah's earliest works, since she's about 4 or 5 years older than Jasnah.
Llarimar he/him
I agree, I thought that the Mythica was surprisingly knowledgeable about the Unmade. The fact that Hessi suspected that the Thrill, for example, was connected to the Unmade is quite alarming because none of the Alethi seem to know this, and if they did it would likely change their whole understanding of the Thrill and how they feel about its supposed allure. 10 hours ago, Ookla the Variable said: The more fun one is that she is a worldhopper, probably someone like Khriss (It might actually be Khriss) I really like this idea, although I hadn't thought of it while I was reading. The language of the Mythica does fit with the intelligent, thorough entries Khriss provides in the Ars Arcanum of every book.
Subvisual Haze
Random silly idea that suddenly struck my mind: what if Hessi is a pseudonym for Axies (the Collector)? The names actually sound kind of similar when spoken aloud. Also we know Axies has made it his immortal life goal to study and catalogue every type of spren. Theoretically the Unmade would be an important part of that study. That would also explain Axies writing notes about spren on his own skin: he's taking notes for the book(s) he is writing. That would also add further significance to the final Mythica epigraph, which theorizes on whether an Unmade was responsible for the destruction of Aimia.
