Villager or spiked Thug? Granted given that the game is still going the former is more likely but just to make sure.

By the time Dane understood what was going on the assailant already escaped. The sound of the knive hitting the ground freed him from his shock. It left a large smear of blood on the ground. Still, Dane´s mind was calm. His wound didn´t hurt as bad as it should instead there was an almost pleasant feeling spreading through him.

How did the assasin enter without the guards raising alarm. There should be guardsmen posted infront of his room. What happend with them? damnation! Dane rushed outside his room, worried. He found his two guardsmen laying on the ground, without any obvious injuries. Actually one was already starting to regain consciousness. Dane relaxed and leaned against the wall, holding his wound.

Hectic footsteps came ringing from down the hallway. Dane could make out the captain a good distance ahead of five other men. When he arived his sight concentrated on the bloodstain on his fake-employers clothes. "Someone bring me medical supplies!" He signaled the others guards without hesitation and moved closer to assess he wound.

After a short while he visibly relaxed. Sir, given the blood the wound is supprisingly shallow. It won´t be very dangerous. We still need to get you to rest."

At the very least theat explains why it doesn´t hurt very much. "Well then, I suppose I can make your job somewhat easier and stay home for a while. And I don´t want to hear anything about you having failed me. Just get me a messanger to keep me informed on whats going on."

"Understood, sir!"

Joe sat on a Pile of Dirt in the Graveyard. Rauuber had died. Now it was Joe's Responsibility to dig the Graves. so Joe got to work, melting aluminum, digging the Grave, preparing the body. It said something that Raubber had run out of Coffins. He, like everyone else, hadn't expected the Killings to go on this Long. Why hadn't they gotten the spiked by now. they had a seeker, twolurchers and a coinshot, against one shadow man. Or was it 2? and Who were they going to Lynch today? Probably Mabi, unless Gamma's Informant had figured out who the last spiked was.

Baldrick Trotted up beside him, and stuck his head under neath Joe's Hand. He never had figyred out where Wark's Girls were living. and now Baldrick just stayed with him. so Joe scrathed his head, then Baldrick's. What kind of name is baldrick anywhay?

Let's put it this way. We're fairly certain that the game is going to end today or tonight.

We're just waiting on the results from our Seeker.

Well the Tineye message is just the tension surge glyph and a signature of the bridge four tattoos. So...not sure

Just letting the remaining spiked know that we have the means to get rid of you within a cycle. Good game, but you're done for.

We haven't acted because we'd all prefer it if you begged for death.

Well, my last Gambit worked.

With unsuccessful results from last nights actions, we were left with only Joe, Mabi, and Lents as possible suspects. So, I PM'd all three of you letting you know we successfully Seeked you as the Spiked last night. This was a lie. But we knew at least one of you would either straight up confess, or make it easier to determine who it was.

Thank you, Joe, for confessing.

You did have most of us convinced in the Trust you were clean, so good job on that.

I apologize for all the innocents that were taken out by the Trusts actions, but Coinshooting suspects was another way we had to 'verify' peoples roles... just in a more permanent way. Your sacrifices were not in vain, and with everyone's help we were able to finally get a Villager Win.

Great job, everybody!

P.S. I was the only Lurcher the entire game. ;)

Edit: I also told Joe that at the end of the Vote, his character can kill/take me out with him. I'm totally cool with going out Martyr style. I mean, what else is there for Gamut to do after this? You either die a Hero, or live long enough to become a villain.
Double Edit: Obviously, if the game doesn't end with Joe, I won't let my character be officially killed. But I'll die for RP reasons and have my Spirit linger around, carrying out my final actions.

Joe, good game. Your vote for Erendi on day one had convinced me that you were good.

Asp's list never lied!

Wait, you Tricked me! Gosh Dang it! I'm going to take you with me Gamma!

And by the way, thank you for confiming everyone's Role.

There were 6 Spiked. I am number 5.

EDIT: Maw and Selvar, you put your roles in your Signatures. May I ask Why?

I said you can take me out with you Joe during the vote, Joe. But remember.
What is dead may never die!

And even if there is one more Spiked left... the game is over the next day cycle anyway. So no point in prolonging the inevitable. Just my two boxings.

@Joe I can't speak for Maw, but I put my role in my signature because it was end game, and the spiked Seeker was dead. Your soothing wouldn't have made a difference because we had too many people on our side.

It's too late now, but why didn't you take out the Tineye? You could easily have made our plotting more difficult.

Chidden stepped forward from the mists and walked up to the old metallurgist, leaning on his dueling cane.  Chidden didn't really have a limp, but he thought it made him look cool.

"You always were a little bit shifty, Joe, but I never suspected you to be the last spiked!  I should have seeked you long ago."

The boy unstopped his last bottle of bronze and tried to drink it as ostentatiously as possible.

"Well, I'm tired of hiding!  I told you all that I would save the world, and you just didn't listened!  Ha! Who's harebrained now?  I saved Blackwater just fine, with some brilliant help from Gamut and the rest of the Trust.  And we will remain safe, just as soon as your ruinous body hits the ground."

Chidden walked into the Lurcher's Inn, which was practically the new town hall of Blackwater.  He clambered up onto one of the tables and addressed the town's beleaguered survivors.

"Gamut the Lurcher saved us all.  He anticipated nearly every move of the spiked.  He kept me safe so I could find them.  All his life, he has tried to protect people, and now he has succeeded.  I would like to be the first to vote for Gamut as the new mayor of Blackwater village!"

Posted

"I, Gamut, first of my name, Ironborn Lurcher and Mayor Candidate of the Village of Blackwater, do sentence Joe the Soother to be keelhauled until death, as is the only punishment for a traitor so heinous."

If people wanted Gamut to act the Lord, he would do it. But he knew in his heart he wouldn't last long. He had too much blood on his own hands to be comfortable leading. He had condemned too many innocents to death in his reckless drive to save the town. And he couldn't even sure if there was another one out there or not!

But, for right now, he knew what he had to do. He looked over at Chidden, standing on top of tables and praising Gamut for his hard work, and smiled to himself. The little scamper was the true hero, despite what he said. Without him, none of the Villagers success would have been possible. Gamut looked down at the small object he had pulled out of his pocket. It was a tiny, empty vial. It was of course full when he had purchased it from Forage before the merchant had died. Gamut looked at the last few drops in the vial, tiny beads the color of molten gold. Maybe he was some sort of Worldhopper, afterall. I mean, who ever heard of some crazy potion that brought the drinker incredible luck?

Hahah I didn't even notice Selvar's sig. Well, Joe, I thought it would be fun to see if anyone noticed. May I ask when you did? And did anyone else? Besides those I pointed it out to?

I'll be on tomorrow when I have more time and I'll post all the hidden meanings in my messages. Clan said he would also. Being "Tineye decoder" was quite fun. Especially when half the messages I already knew and I got to pretend to miss things. Like lots of white text.

Oh and congratulations, Gamut, Selvar, and Chidden. Chidden, I guess I will forgive you for that tree you chopped down so long ago. You always have a bed in my home from now on. You saved us all. I had conversations with the Trust, but we didn't do much. Since you had it all taken care of.

This is what my sig said in white, if anyone wants to know:

You have to be a Tineye to see this.

By the way I'm glad to add a 1 next to the green survivor list. Unless there is another Spiked. The who knows.

I was the creator of the three piece dwarven runes poem. I had originally written it before Clan died, and was going to send a piece to both Tineyes, but he died, and I had to get creative. I do not regret getting Wark to "find" one piece, because I absolutely loved the RP he wrote about it. Written below is the original version with all the correct punctuation and spellings.

Three spiked are down, their fate was due,
There's one, (we think,) or maybe two,
Left in this game, whose limbs we'll hew.

The first we hung, on vague surmise,
Defend yourself, to all we cried.
But he delayed, and so he died.

The next burned lead, he thought it wise.
Until one day, to his surprise,
He ran from us, and then he died.

The third was sudden, shot at night,
Misstep he did, to our delight,
His blade he lost, and then his life.

Our luck thus far has been sustained,
This night we hope will be their bane,
The heap of dead one more to gain.

I noticed Maw's Sig early Last night. What happened was that we decided to Kill Dane, then Saw Maw's Sig, and knew we had to kill him to end your plotting, so we switched to Maw, but Peng didn't realise. :(  And Chidden, all those Lurched spike attacks? We were attacking you, desprately Attempting to kill the Last seeker. I'd like to Formally apologizer to all the People I've decieved. Peng, Withyour Ok, I'd like to Edit my Death scene, and Post it as the Write up for the Day, Since I'm obvoiusly Going to die.

by the Way, I'm the one who stabbed Cyrus in the Chest.

Wark, Baldrick won't stop following me, you're going to have to guide him to your Daughter's House as a Ghost.

Brother, I leave the Rest in your Bloody Hands.

Congrats, Joe. I'm glad it took that long, though. ;) it was fun to have it there all game. I don't think killing me that night would've changed much. The Trust had it all pretty much done, I think.

I have to ask, why didn't you kill Gamut after you realized he was Lurching Chidden?

Posted

I'll admit, Joe, the fact that you voted for Erendi on the first day had me fooled. You guys had the chance to get Mabi lynched then and there and left Erendi to be an ace in the hole, but you kept your vote on him. Well played, but this gambit of another Spiked is uncalled for. Even if there is another one, there are only 3 people that are unverified. The next night, we'll be able to seek one, I'd coinshot another and if that doesn't finish the game, we lynch the third person and there is literally nothing that can be done about it.

If you try to kill Chid, Gamut lurches him and we still get the results. If you kill Gamut, we still get the results. If you kill me, I still get the kill and we still get the same results. In other words, if you had a teammate, you should both step forward and gloat while you can, cause you're dead either way.

(Yes, your eccentric Detective was your coinshot the entire game. As Dane so well put, even when I'm not GM, I still get the highest kill count! Mwahahaha!!!

I've copied the PMs from the Trust into a Google Doc that I have gotten everyone's permission to post at the end of the game, but to quickly clarify one thing: I never used my powers for the first few days. Raubber was hit by either Asp or Bartson. Since we couldn't know which one hit him, we couldn't be sure of his alliance. Sorry Raubber!)

Posted

We thought there were 2 lurchers. We had attacked Gamma and he had defended himself, he also had little reason to suspect that we knew who the second seeker was, so the odds were that he wouldn't be defending Chidden. So the most likely conclusion for us was that there were in fact 2 lurchers especially given we already knew there were three seekers in the game. If that were the case, and there were 2 lurchers and a seeker working together, with half our number already gone our best bet was the lurchers making a mistake and leaving Chidden open. Another night later and we knew that if we couldn't kill Chidden that night or the next we would lose the game. So we had no choice but to try again in the hope that the lurchers would make a mistake.

I would also like to mention that things went, poorly, on night 2 through no fault of Peng's. We were intending to use Asp's coinshot to target Gamma and our normal kill to slay Meta. Unfortunately we forgot to change the spiked target so it hit Gamma anyway and due to the site problems of the time Asp's message changing his target to Gamma never went through and Raubber got hit instead. The seeking message had difficulties as well but that was resolved in the end.

Well played guys, especially Gamma.

I'll post tineye solutions soon.

Posted (edited)

We never attacked Raubber, And we didn't attack Gamma because we believed the Fake 2nd Lurcher would Protect him.

EDIT: YOu guys thought we were so good, killing a seeker and A Mistborn. We were just killing Experianced players. :P

Here. I'll be generous and give you this offer.

In Forage's cellar, I have found a hidden door, that with Chid's Seeking abilities he was able to track down due to it giving off strange pulses, unknown to his Allomantic Senses. We acquired the help of Meta, the eccentric Detective who we knew had Steel Pushing abilities. See, we found strange mechanisms inside the door, strange gear works with mysterious runes and glyphs that required being Pushed on certain areas, and Pulled on others.

But we couldn't work for fear of being found out, with the heavy amounts of Allomancy that was required. So we enlisted the help of Selvar, the Doctor and Smoker of the Village. He kept us copper-clouded, letting us work in safety. Eventually we unlocked the first layer, but it was a booby trap. Poisonous smoke began to fill the chamber and we had to retreat. We knew we needed the help of Dane, the Fake Noble, but we knew him for his real identity, a terris-blooded Gold Feruchemist. His stored health allowed him to safely work inside the Chamber and disperse the gas so we could work in safety once more.

But then we reached another problem, for the revealed surface was laden with even stranger runes and had a rough, illegible texture. We required the help of a Tineye. Maw, the by-day farmer, and by-night Tineye decoder was perfect for the job. In no time at all he had deciphered the cryptic message and we found the key.

I give you this final offer, Spiked, if there is indeed one more of you out there. With the key we were able to open a door into another World. An Unknown world. It looks bleak, and cold, and there's a glimmering Wall of Ice hundreds of feet high in the distance. We do not know what lies there. But we give you this chance. Flee. Maybe your Crimes can even be forgiven there.

Leave this town with your life intact. Be gone and leave your Old Master and your failed mission behind. Let the needless bloodshed end, and get out while you still can. Reveal yourself now and take our offer, for the Mists will not be so kind tonight.

OOC: I think you Spiked did a great job of staying off the Radar of suspicions. Most of our Seeking hits were mostly guesses, and my lurches mostly luck.
oh, and technically, Meta could still be the Ironborn. I don't think I ever explicitly called him a Lurcher. I just called him Ironborn and said he flew along blue lines that connected to metal. :P

It kind of helped that Asp posted a list with all of you on it, even though Joe messed with our minds by voting for Erendi.

@Peng Since we all know what's going to happen this day, could we get an early writeup?
