So after someone has a certain number of upvotes they get a new ranking title right? well today I was thinking that with 16 being a number of so much cosmic importance that it would be cool if these ranks went up on multiples of 16. I know that it is such a small thing that it wouldn't even matter but it might be a neat little easter egg.

yes, that does make lots of sense, though maybe less than 16^x, since that would give only 3 levels below 50000 (and more importantly, below 9000 )

Powers of two or four would probably work better.

He's saying multiples of 16, not powers of sixteen. Powers of 16 are CRAZY. Do you know what 16 to the 16th power is?

Nineteen quintillion, six hundred and seventy six quadrillion, five hundred and twenty seven trillion, nine billion, nine hundred and fifty six million, eight hundred and fifty six thousand, eight hundred and sixty six.

And that is the number of possible spell combinations in a magic system I came up with. Which is pretty freaking insane.

I dunno, I kinda like the idea of powers of 16, each level would give a real sense of accomplishment (or more realistically crippling lonliness based on how much time you spent on here)
