Welcome to the Shard! I remember Mistborn was the first Sanderson book I ever read. It was a roller coaster of a ride towards the end of the book, but I loved it. Keep reading.

Have you read any of Sanderson's other books?

Welcome! Great to have you here. And ya, it is pretty sad. But it gets better. Trust me ;)

Also, anyone know how to move topics? Because I think this should be over in Introduce Yourself.

Only mods can move topics. I'll let them know.

I think it'll be fine where it is @Chaos I will most likely continue to fangirl about Mistborn.

Please. The cries of anguish are what sustains many of us between book releases. Reactions to Kelsier's demise are particularly nutritious.

I firmly believe some writers thrive on the agony they cause their readers from the characters they kill off.

@SilverTiger Awe thanks! And I'll be sure to read that one! I can't wait to read about my baby again :)

I would, however, definitely not read it until you've read at least the first Mistborn trilogy. My recommendation would be to go at it after you've read The Bands of Mourning, book 7, and to not even look at it until then.

@Argent Awe is there spoilers?

There are massive Era 1 spoilers in Secret History. Almost none for Era 2, but the ending of The Bands of Mourning ties nicely into something from Secret History, so it's a little better if you read them in this order.

Oh, and I would recommend not eating those cookies. Rule of thumb on the Shard- never accept baked goods.

I'd also recommend reading all the books through Bands of Mourning before reading the Mistborn novellas in Arcanum Unbounded. The revelations are a lot better if you wait and read Secret History last.
