Hello, I'm a recent addition to this cosmere. I've been listening to Brandon Sanderson's books since I left America in March for my Deployment to Iraq. I've made it through 5 books, and I am excited about the 3rd mistborn book I will read this month, and the third Stormlight Archives book I will read in November when it is released. I have also listened to Warbreaker. However, I want the entire Cosmere in my library, Can someone list ALL of the books from Sanderson's collection in the Cosmere? Also, should I read the short novella Edgedancer before reading the Oathbringer? I have not had an opportunity to get any of the short stories. Also, it seems that Mr. Sanderson is quite involved in his community, where is the best place to keep my finger to feel for his pulse In this community barring social media?

Hello, and welcome to the 17th Shard! It's good to see that someone else has picked up Brandon's books! Anyways, onto your question. As far as full books go, there is Elantris, Warbreaker, all of Mistborn (M:The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension, The Hero of Ages, The Alloy of Law, Shadows of Self, Bands of Mourning),  the Stormlight Archive, a graphic novel called White Sand, and a bunch of cosmere short stories and novellas, which are available in an anthology thing called Arcanum Unbounded. And yes, you should read Edgedancer before Oathbringer, as it gives you some awesome stuff from Lift, as well as some *ahem* other important things. As far as Brandon Sanderson interacting with the community, I don't really know where you could go for that barring social media. Have fun on the Shard!

The only physical book you'll need is White Sand, since it's a graphic novel! I've listened to all of the cosmere books, though I'll finally have a physical copy since I'm going to the Oathbringer signing in November for my birthday!

I'm not too sure if you're asking about getting physical copies of all of them, or audio.

You can get all of his novels as physical copies (Elantris, Mistborn, Well of Ascension, Hero of Ages, Warbreaker, Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Alloy of Law, Shadows of Self, Bands of Mourning) and there is a new(ish) anthology that contains all of Sanderson's shorter works called Arcanum Unbounded.

I'm not sure which of the above list is available in audio, but I'm reasonably sure that most of his full-length novels are.

About Brandon's involvement in the community, I'd recommend the Shard (which you've already found. Welcome, by the way), and the various Sub-reddits in the reddit community where Brandon occasionally posts updates and answers fan questions as /u/mistborn. He doesn't come onto the Shard very much (I think he's a bit wary of us tbh), but it's still a good place to see announcements and signing reports (as well as lists of dates where you may be able to meet him). There's also his website brandonsanderson.com where he and his team run a blog and a store (where you can conveniently order many of his books signed).

Welcome to the community!

There are audio book versions of everything published in the Cosmere except White Sand (since its a graphic novel) including Arcanum Unbounded.

They're all the same narrator too, except for Elantris.

Welcome, and thank you for your service!

Thank you all for your replies, I Half expected my post to fall on glazed eyes. I am very intrigued by the books. I’m still re-listening to the first two Stormlight Archive books, I’ll have Arcanum unbound on the 15th. I’ll get the 3rd Mistborn in November. But I’ll also have Oathbringer when it is available. I’m very excited about every book I get. I’ve been away from reading too long. I also love the idea of the Alethi Script and Thaylen glyphs, though I have not seen any in books. I plan on getting them eventually lol.

On that thought, does anyone know if there are any spoilers for the 3rd Mistborn book in Arcanum Unbound? I’ve tried to avoid any particular deep theory threads for fear of spoilers. Haha!

If you haven't read Mistborn 3, you should probably avoid 'Mistborn: Secret History' and 'Allomancer Jak' until you have.

Secret history deals quite a bit with the ending of the first Mistborn trilogy and allomacer Jak takes place during the second trilogy.
