It really isn't something big... but Alice thought it was enough to warn others. I personally read them, I know what I have been spoiled for and huh I wouldn't have guessed. I am still glad I read them, but this isn't a decision I can take for every reader. I mean a scene which will happen in Oathbringer. I haven't read it nor do I know what scene it is exactly (though I can guess), but I was told something it less powerful if you have read the flashback first. Well... I can't say if it impacts something in the book... It don't think it is "plot" important, it doesn't sound "plot important", it just makes something "less meaningful".
