Zmaray he/him
Does burning pewter multiply or add strength?
The One Who Connects he/him
Not 100% sure if it's a multiple or addition, but burning doubles, and flaring triples. Quote Question Question about feruchemy and allomancy… what does it take to match allomantic pewter? Brandon Sanderson He imagines that baseline pewter doubles strength, flaring triples. He wouldn’t imagine someone burning pewter and lifting a car. Hasn’t thought about speed and healing. He’s admitting he hasn’t canonized these things. Yata he/him
For Logic It is adding strenght, this manifest with a double like effect Upon regular burn and a triple like effect with flaring. This is the reason Vin could recover the gap with other mistborn or pewterarms. While you adds a fixed amount the starting level become lesser and lesser meaningful. Of course we have not an official confirmation of this, but if the Preservation's Power is costant the effect have to be costant too Edited May 30, 2017 by Yata

The power comes from the metal, & thus isn't related to the Allomancer's normal strength. Most Thugs build up their muscles as much as possible, because they'll be that much stronger with pewter on. But Vin gets an advantage in mobility because she's so small, but still gets the full power of pewter (probably plus a bit, since her allomantic strength is a bit above normal) to apply to her lesser body mass. Yeah, Vin's case is a bit weird because the physics helps her a bit in some context. She develop less Force than the others average thugs (because her basic strenght is really low) but when she hit with bare body, her punch/kick/ec... apply that Force in a lesser area (because she is so tiny) and this result in a greater pressure. She is also quite skilled to flare Pewter only when She needs and therefore her actual hit are quite fearsome (and the gap become lesser and lesser). Without considerate the advantage of her tiny form: Basic Vin: 5 | Pewter Vin: 15 | Flaring Vin: 25 Better Basic Vin: 5 | Better Pwerter Vin: 16 | Better Flaring Vin: 27 Regular Adult man: 10 | Pewter Adult: 20 | Flaring Adult: 30 Fit Adult man: 12 | Petwer Fit Adult: 22 | Flaring Fit Adult: 32 I made some considerations, they could be speculative but not really high speculative: - All the Strenghts are not "muscle only" but the whole spectrum of physical activities, a Fit Man isn't really twice or something like that stronger than an average guy...So a surplus of 20% of power is enough to me. - Vin is quite fit for a girl of her weight, so give them roughtly the half of an average adult man's strenght is probably too low but I prefered to give a worst scenario. - If Vin is actually stronger than an average Allomancer, her surplus is not really "too strong". Therefore if Vin is actually a bit stronger, it will be something like something +10%
