Hello World!

I join you as a huge Brandon Sanderson fan, who is within a month or so of having read every published work of his. I am especially in love with his penchant for creating hard magic systems. If anyone want to discuss one of my own, revolving around the world of the "Artifice Wars", please let me know, as I am always looking for feedback and ideas.

On a non-book note: I am a proud Canadian, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and a huge nerd. I've traveled through a good portion of the US, lived for over a year in Benin, West Africa, and spent two weeks visiting 4 countries in Europe. Huge Marvel fan, especially Spider-man and Doctor Strange.

Where might one find these "Artifice Wars" books? I just tried a quick Amazon search and came up empty. I am always on the look out for new material to devour!

Based on the title, your comment, and a quick google search,  I'm guessing that Artifice Wars is still in progress? If this is the case, I'd love to learn more about the magic system you've developed, as this is one(of many) of my favorite parts of fantasy novels!

I'm a big fan of the Marvel movies/tv shows, although I have not really read much of the actual comic books myself.

At this moment "Artifice Wars" is still a work in progress. In fact, a year ago, it didn't exist at all. Right now, I am still in the process of creating my main characters, developing that part of the world where their story will be happening, and developing a magic system. Particularly making the magic system harder, since right now it's too soft for my taste. (Referencing Sanderson's First Law of Magic)

Instead of filling this thread with discussion about Artifice Wars, I've created another one in the Creator's Corner.
