Steeldancer he/him Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Yes I know that mercury eventually causes madness. But imagine vin using mercury instead of horseshoes. An actual storm of liquid metal... In fact, what would happen if you pushed down on a lake of mercury? That could be cool.

With enough practice, though, you could do it for a little while. The lake would probably just splash, and if you were above it, you would probably drown in liquid metal.
king of nowhere Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 it would probably be akin to pushing on fine metal dust. you couldn't get much of a hold. though with skill you could maybe keep pushing on different parts of the lake and stay afloat. In any case you do not risk drowning, since you'd float on mercury. you risk death by mercury poisoning, however.
