VenDell in BoM

I was thinking about a comment VenDell made in BoM when he's showing the projector slides to Wax, Wayne, Marasi, etc. VenDell tells the group that, to their knowledge, four different people have held the power of Ascension: Rashek, The Survivor, The Ascendant Warrior, and Harmony. I'll use the spoiler tag now because my question has some possible Secret History spoilers.

When I first read BoM, I wondered why VenDell included Kelsier in the list of people who had held the power of Ascension. Everything clicked after I read Secret History and learned about Kelsier holding the power briefly before he passed it over to Vin. But I'm wondering how VenDell knew that Kelsier held the power briefly when Kelsier was in the Cognitive Realm. I don't remember reading about this anywhere outside of Secret History. I suppose VenDell could have learned this from Harmony or Spook. I'm mainly curious because it seems to me like Kelsier's time in the Cognitive Realm is pretty well unknown to people in the Physical Realm (at least on North Scadrial).

was written in the Words of Founding, the books that Harmony left.

That would make sense then. I must have glanced over that part.

Harmony's note to Spook at the end of HoA implied that he had talked to Kelsier since Spook had become a tin Savant so chances are he let slip other things elsewhere.

I wonder, on the other hand: it was mentioned somewhere that the 1024 years cycle had been going for a while before, and several people had held the power of the well, used it, and kept ruin trapped for another thousand years. If the shattring of adonalsium is roughly 10000 years old (something I remember reading somewhere) then we can expect 8-9 slivers before rashek.

There were others. Harmony probably didn't bother listing them as it would be meaningless to most Scadrians. They hade no connection to anyone so why should they care?

Yes, there were other Hero of Ages before Alendi and Vin. They didn't create any lasting impact on the world however, they just used the power of the Well of Ascension as Preservation intended for it to be used and moved on.

We don't know when Scadrial was made, Ruin and Preservation could do something in their early thousands of years before crafting this world....For example, be invested in another Shardworld (Vax to say one) and then moved to build their little personal world

Also, I doubt Preservation's betrayal occurred immediately after they made Scadrial. They made it, then Leras wanted humans, then he betrayed Ati.

This sounds almost sounds like Leras and Ati broke up because Leras wanted kids
