“I am considering,” the man said. “I had been expecting to kill you and hunt down Tyn. You can tell her she would have been fine coming to me— I am not angry that she did not retrieve the information from Jasnah. I hired the hunter I felt best for the task, and I understood the risks. Kholin is dead, and Tyn was to achieve that at all other costs. I may not have commended her on the job, but I was satisfied."

-Words of Radiance, Chapter 43 "The Ghostbloods" (Bold emphasis mine)

Did anyone else LOL when they read this in Words of Radiance, knowing Mraize said it as Iyatil JUST sat down right next to Shallan? :P

No. Why would I?

I don't understand the joke. Tyn was the hunter Mraize thought was best suited for the job, Iyatil is his master.

Nor I...

Maybe because Iyatil is a Hunter? Of the caste?

It's not really a joke as much an interesting use of the term "hunter."  Considering Iyatil's heritage, it's funny to me in retrospect reading this passage knowing what we know now.  Words of Radiance came out almost two years before we understood Iyatil's heritage and it's neat to see the inklings of how these stories connect throughout the years.
