Captcha

My computer just made me do a captcha before it let me access the Shard. Is that a Shard thing? Is my internet being weird?

Loading at all, I stay logged in basically all the time.

So it hasn't happened again but this is currently happening:

@Ookla the ChibiThat happened to me. It must be an issue with the profile picture image files. Restarting my computer worked for me.

Sometimes that can happen if you are using a VPN.

Im not.....it was a somewhat public wifi.

Whose WiFi was it? The administrator might have turned on some kind of setting.

Those captcha's come from CloudFlare, a service that this website seems to be using. It's purpose is to prevent robots (e.g. in a DDOS attack) from hitting the website. 

That captcha is more likely when you're on a public WiFi or using a VPN. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the screenshots. It is indeed from Cloudflare, our CDN. Cloudflare does super awesome stuff for us. I could disable this but I'm not sure I want to.

I'd say leave it on, extra layer keeping away the spam ads

TBH I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some weird virus or scam or something disguising itself as a captcha on an open wifi network....not that it was asking for log in details or anything but yeah.
