Anyway, does anyone have a sense about the identity of the woman at the sides of Voidbinding Chart? I'm just Sticking curious about that OuO What is worth noticing is that the safehand is "wrapped", at least not revealed.
Paliah Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 The most common theory seems to be that she is Cultivation's Vessel, but I don't think it has been confirmed. I can't help but wonder if the blonde hair is also significant.

Rasarr she/her Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 @Blightsong, as far as I'm aware, the general consensus on the forum is that it's either Voidbinding chart or Fabrial Science chart; IIRC, it's called Voidbinding Chart around here because that's how the person who uploaded the pic on Coppermind named the file. As for the woman, there has been discussion as to her identity; I believe the propositions given were that she's either Cultivation, Reya (of the Reya's Tear fame), Nightwatcher, Adolin's mother (it's the hair colour), or a random Vorin woman put there for decoration. To make matter more difficult, she has Vorin safehand, but non-Vorin (likely Iriali) hair colour. I was going to say that maybe she's one of the Heralds, before I realized that we do, actually, have pictures of Heralds, or at least their heads. So I went comparing, and unfortunately, there's no definite match; she has eye shape and "wild hair" of Paliah, but Chana's nose and Battar's lips and chin. So... could be Herald, could be not a Herald. If this is a Fabrial Science chart, my bet would be on Battar, as she, being a patron of Elsecallers, would have deepest ties to spren and thus fabrial-making. 1

I am also of the camp that it is Cultivation, my guess has been that the chart is a western version of the regular double eye we've seen.

It is an evidence that the chart has something to do with the Voidbinding, considering the two-side-of-spectrum relationship between Honor and Odium.

I don't think anyone's taking that for a given, but it is the name everyone knows that chart by, lol. Yeah, it could mean they're complementary to the Radiant surges, or that they're achieved by different means, or that they're completely opposite. Nobody really has a clue at this stage.
