I'm a little late to the game, but after re-reading Rithmatist I had to join in.

Heal Joel, hurt Melody

3. Cody--41
9. Joel--30
10. Melody--29

I_am_a_Stick accidentally healed Cody twice and hurt Joel here and hurt Joel here, so Cody should have 1 less point and Joel two more.

Then, hurt Cody and heal Melody.

3. Cody--40
9. Joel--30
10. Melody--30

Do you think it would be worth starting changing the numbers by 2 now? We aren't down to 2 characters yet, but we seem to just be going around in circles and using 2 would speed it up again.

Hurt Cody; heal Melody.

3. Cody--44
9. Joel--29
10. Melody--27

I'd personally prefer to stick with the rules as they were set out at the beginning, and switch at the final two. But I can see the reasoning for doing it now.

Sorry, just got back from school. I think we could start detracting by two, but still add by one. It would make it go faster... What do you think?

Maybe. Though that could actually change the game a fair bit, I think. Right now if someone hurts A and heals B, then someone else does the reverse, the net result is no change. Under the -2, +1 rule, the net result would be both losing a point, benefiting the other character.

It also means that the total will decrease by one each turn rather than staying at 100.
