My predictions:

Szeth will try to kill himself with Nightblood

Nale will prevent him

Szeth will bond with a highspren and speak the oaths (one of them at least)

Because Szeth followed the laws, and Skybreakers value law, he won't consider himself evil

We do not know if being brought back to life actually changed anything anything or if Szeth was just manipulated by Nale into thinking that. The kind of conditioning Szeth has undergone would make that kind of manipulation child's play.

Except he's starting to get past that by the end of WoR. Go back and re-read the final attempt on Dalinar, where he adds Adolin (IIRC) to the list.

As I said, my takeaway.
But, my theory is that he will ultimately become a Radiant, witch would be an arc filled with a lot of conflict.
As for Adolin..  Sure.  I guess he wanted to scratch at a flea that kept biting his back.
It's hardy the same seeking out people to kill, which is the context of my post- It wasn't his desire to seek people out to kill as Travagnian had him doing.

As I said, he started heading down that path, and delayed his mission slightly to pursue Adolin. It was a major shift in behavior, signaling more to come. Of course Kaladin came along instead, but it's pretty clear Szeth was close to breaking. Probably why Szeth decided to let Kaladin kill him (note: the different in the revised WoR is Kal doesn't follow through with killing him).

We know Szeth is going to be SA4 or SA5, so I'm inclined to say that at this point people should post theories if they think he will not become a KR. I'm not really sure what to expect there -- some stuff may be in SA3 (and SA4 if Szeth is SA5), so I'm not sure what the big struggle will be. If we go with the Nale is crazy theory then there are a lot of opportunities there for Brandon to play with. I will be much more impressed with Brandon if Szeth does come to see his previous life's actions as ultimately evil and breaks from from Nale's control. Maybe even cleans house.  Of course, we're not sure about Nale's state of mind, so....

Szeth isn't safe until Book 5, Sanderson has said he has no problems killing characters that will eventually have a flashback book. Szeth is the primary candidate for that because the closer we get to the series finale, the more relevant his back story will be to the plot, but he may not be as essential as other POV characters.

I think it's important to remember that the annotation says "if deep down they believe" they are evil then they could be at risk of Nightblood killing them. So even if Szeth has excuses for his actions that he tells himself, if he doesn't satisfactorily believe them then he's still in danger.

The danger in lying to yourself.... Szeth could be in a position though to believe that in hindsight he was evil back then, but not now. I think he's safe if he does better this time around. There's also the Nale manipulation factor that may keep him convinced enough that he's not evil to be safe.
