I know this might be completely irrelevant but:

In Rithmantist's alternate earth all native nordamerikans fled to southamerika because of the chalklings. But if the settlers from Britannia never met those tribes, why did they call one island "Dakote"??

I don't know. The map doesn't go that far north.

There's not enough detail in the Floridian Atolls to be sure, but either my home is underwater, or a lot of the surrounding area is.
