Mestiv he/him Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Other switches do nothing. Turning them all on wouldn't tell you witch one turned the light on. The answer with ripping them from the wall I guess would work, however it is not the intended solution if no one figures out the intended solution I'll post it in couple of hours.

Can you see into the other room without leaving the current room? Are the switches labelled?
Mestiv he/him Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 No, you cannot see into the other room. The switches are labeled A, B and C, but the labels are irrelevant.
Sunbird she/her Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Oh! I know this one. 1. Pick a random switch and turn it on. Leave it on for an hour; then turn it off again. 2. Pick one of the other two switches and turn it on. 3. Immediately go into the room with the light bulb. If the light bulb is off and cold, then the switch you didn't touch is the one that connects to the bulb. If the bulb is off and warm, then the switch you left on for an hour is the one. If the bulb is on, then the switch you just turned on connects to it. My turn to post a riddle?
Delightful Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Riddles? nope. Have to wait till I guess one right and ask again. I'm intrigued by Kasimirs riddle also.
Sunbird she/her Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Oh boy. Y'all probably know all the riddles I can think of... Oh well, here goes: In marble halls as white as milk, Lined with skin as soft as silk, In a fountain crystal clear, A golden apple doth appear. No doors there are to this stronghold, Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.

Young Bard he/him Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 (edited) No-one has answered Kasimir/Alv's yet, so I'll give it a go: Would this be the poison Blackbane in the Stormlight Archive? My riddle: I have no hands, I have no feet, Yet I march ceaselessly on. Eventually, all will fall beneath me. What am I? Answer: Time! Edited June 2, 2016 by The Young Bard
Young Bard he/him Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Correct. Very well done, seeing as I could only think of half of it, and made up the rest as I was typing. Your turn.
Delightful Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I'll repost mine that hasn't been answered; Made from straightened curls, curled again, I am a trap for one of life's necessities.
Delightful Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) Poop itself isn't a necessity so no. I think you're on the right track though. #thingsAdolinwouldsay Edited June 9, 2016 by Delightful
