Rusts it all! I just had to join!

It's as though Harmony himself has lead me to the forum!

The byline, "The Official Brandon Sanderson Fansite" is actually what got me to join...

I figured , " I am an official fan. I better join!"

First off... I am a slow reader yet somehow I have read through:

  • The Way of Kings
  • Mistborn: The Final Empire
  • The Well of Ascension
  • The Hero of Ages
  • The Alloy of Law
  • Shadows of Self
In that order. I'm trapped in the Cosmere! What a wonderful place!

When I first read The Way of Kings it was a complete stumble into it. Then I learned that there were other worlds... So I jumped right into Mistborn since it was a complete trilogy. Man was that a fun ride and it continues to be. I just finished Shadows of Self today and I will start The Bands of Mourning tonight! I just love the way that Brandon keeps the mysteries alive!

The Ars Arcanum in the last two books has been intriguing... Now I cant wait to get to reading Words of Radiance and Elantris ! It definetly prompted some theories in my mind. Im sort of holding off from digging through "theory threads" here since I do not want to be spoiled in any way but once I get a few more books read I'm looking forward to it!

Anyway... Thanks for establishing this community. I look forward to meeting some of you on the boards!

I recommend reading Elantris and Warbreaker before you get to Words of Radiance if you can.

I also cannot recommend reading Mistborn: Secret History strongly enough once you've finished Bands of Mourning.

welcome. don't forget that the mistborn saga isn't done yet: band of mourning forwards the plot of shadows of self, while secret history (yes, that's the title of the book, "mistborn: secret history") shows some very spoileriffic stuff. I think it's available only as ebook. There is also warbreaker, that you can buy in paper version or you can download for free from sanderson's site here: http://brandonsanderson.com/warbreaker-introduction/. He put it for free as a sorrt of free trial. then there are a few books that are not cosmere, but still definitely worth checking: the reckoners saga, the alcatraz saga, and the rithmatist. And there are a tons of short stories that only appeared in ebooks. And someone will correct me if i forgot anything.
