Evensong Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 So, question, is there anyone else on this planet who actually enjoys doing the weird rituals (ie yodeling with a shoe on your head to protect ownership of your immortal soul) prescribed by fantasy communities? yes it's kind of sad, but life seems more epic if you take things like that seriously... Or I might just be crazy. 3
Sand Master Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I can't say one way or another whether it's just you (but statistically, it's probably not just you), but I am curious as to what you mean by "prescribed by fantasy communities". I've never seen anyone prescribe anything like that, unless it was done jokingly.
Zathoth Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I did yodel with a shoe on my head when I signed up, so it is not just you.
Stormgate he/him Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 At least here, we generally don't suggest strange rituals. However, some of us have almost a religious devotion to a certain stubborn stick. So, our insanity is still in question. 1
hoidhunter he/him Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 “To be one's self, and unafraid whether right or wrong, is more admirable than the easy cowardice of surrender to conformity.” ― Irving Wallace If you enjoy doing these things, nothing should dissuade you. However, if you are doing them only because you feel like you should...that is one of the worst reasons to do anything. That being said...I honestly have no idea what you are talking about...but have an upvote!
