Bryce Carmony he/him Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 How can I talk a proud stick into being a lowly bead of Lerasium?
Voidus Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Lerasium isn't just normal matter, it's wrapped in the Spiritual, I doubt you'd be able to Soulcast it anymore than you could soulcast a Lashing.
Bryce Carmony he/him Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) But it exists somewhat in the physical realm. I think you could maybe make it happen. NightBlood Is connected to the spiritual realm but was made with magic Edited March 8, 2016 by Bryce Carmony

NightBlood Is connected to the spiritual realm but was made with magic Yeah but you couldn't just soulcast something into Nightblood either. You could probably create a physical shell and then fill it with the power from the Well but then if you have access to the Well you can just make it from scratch as TLR probably did.
Bowiespoon he/him Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 You assume that you could change the stick, but let me tell you something, ash might rain from the sky, storms might rage (in both directions), , giant earthquakes might destroy cities accidentally causing what is essentially the undead curse from dark souls...., ghosts may stop us from having midnight glowstick rave parties, and somehow every beggar may actually be Hoid, but that stick will not change! 5

That's why the stick shOuld be a knight radiant, he makes Dalinar look like a flip flopper
Bowiespoon he/him Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 That's why the stick shOuld be a knight radiant, he makes Dalinar look like a flip flopper no, its like this the stick has transcended our mundane struggles, and cannot change. For it to be a knight radiant would be for it to change, which is impossible. Once, a shortsighted fool attempted to fashion the stick into a great weapon, but he failed. The end. Now, one may be able to use the stick as a weapon, for a club is nothing but another word for a stick. If this would happen, it would rank somewhere around here: - stick - horneater teeth - honorblade - active shardblade - dead shardblade - chull dung (it has many applications) - spear - cardboard cutout of a sword 2

Left he/him Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 I think it's possible that if a light weaver with enough knowledge were on Scadrial and was able to draw in enough of preseveration's power through the mists, then they might possibly be able to make something Similar to lerssium. There's more to lerasium then just solidified preservation though, so I don't think they could make that.
Stormgate he/him Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 It's a matter of the type of Investiture. If a Soulcaster (either kind) could turn something into Lerasium, then it would be a matter of turning the Investiture of one Shard into the Investiture of another Shard. That would be, in my mind, nearly impossible. And then you have to convince the Stick to change on top of it all.
