From what I'm aware the events in the pure lake take place 300 years after the Mistborn trilogy I'm not sure the time line difference between that and Elantris But shouldn't these characters be incredibly old by now or am I missing something

Argent he/him Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 There is a mechanic involved in worldhopping that allows people to seemingly live longer than they otherwise would. I doubt worldhopping itself extends the lifespan, I would guess time simply flows at a lower rate in the Cognitive Realm. So you can be Galladon, leave Sel when you are, let's say 35, spend what looks like 300 years to the outside world inside the Cognitive Realm, pop out on Roshar, and be only a little older.
