I am currently listening to the WoR audiobook and just got to the part where Adolin starts dueling again. There it talks about how he doesn't name his blade because he believes it already has a name and he wonders about what it's name is. Idk if that was just him pondering, or maybe foreshadowing, but he seems to have a proper respect for his blade, and maybe he has been with it long enough that if he starts to live by the proper ideals, he might be able to bring it back.
