Kaymyth she/her
Does...does this really not exist yet? Well, here it is! Talk about Deadpool here! I've seen it twice so far, and...ye gods. This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. (This probably speaks highly impolitely of my sense of humor's maturity level.) I loved Ryan Reynolds, I loved Morena Baccarin, I loved the additions of Colossus and Negasonic Teenaged Warhead, and I loved the fourth wall breaks. What I didn't love was hearing about all the people who keep bringing their kids to this thing. I've been fortunate in that both theaters I saw it in were populated by adults, but I found out today that one of my coworkers took her 10-year-old son. No! Just...no! Why would you DO that?
ThirdGen
Yes, least appropriate theater I've seen a kid in since The Passion of the Christ.
Patar he/him
I honestly didn't know if I would survive until the end of the movie, I was laughing to much! I guess I was fortunate, there weren't any kids that seemed to young in the theater. Everything that Deadpool said was absolute comedy gold, although 95% of them I probably should not quote. I feel the need to mention how perfect Ryan Reynolds was for this role. You can tell he really cares about Deadpool as a character, he wanted to get him done right. And he did. Amazing movie, and I'm even more excited for the sequel, just so we can get some Deadpool/Cable interactions. The ONLY thing that disappointed me about the movie was the fact that there was no Wolverine cameo. I mean seriously, those two have the funniest moments together. But that's just a small complaint. Looking forward to seeing it again.

Edgedancer he/him
FRANCIS! So yeah, I liked the movie. After watching the movie I was actually pretty suprised that it managed a rating for 16 years olds over here in germany. I retrospective, I also find it funny that I had waffles before watching the movie. I'm also not sure how I feel about using taxis anymore.
Orlion Blight he/him
It was all enjoyable. Even when I knew where a joke was going, the presentation of it was still pretty funny. I think all elementary school children should watch this movie

Orlion Blight he/him
Pfft...innocence is overrated! I mean, would you rather be haunted by the milk you spilled one morning or by the terrible, sulking emptiness at the core of your being? Incidentally, to be able to have a preference all ready implies a loss of innocence

Incidentally, to be able to have a preference all ready implies a loss of innocence true...so painfully true You won't be innocent anymore by the time the movie's done. BTW I have read most of the comics and they are ALOT worse than what I have heard about the movies
mattig89ch he/him
I watched the angry joe reivew of it after I first saw it. And I have to say, he's right on the money. It was like my little sister wrote this movie, every joke was just "It would great if he said this" and then half a second later he said it. It was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time. I'm going to try and get my friends to see it with me this weekend.
Moonskin she/her
I absolutely loved this movie, it is hilarious, full of action and even the "romance" part is great! I look forward to coming back again this week-end. I only read a dozen of the comics, but now I am sure that I will "hear" Reynolds voice when I read them, he really is the perfect choice for the role (and I love the spots for the awareness campaign against testicular cancer)

Delightful
One of my favourite lines - that I can repeat in polite company - was "I wonder why there's only two of you? Maybe because the studio can't afford more X men".
Oversleep
Most of the jokes I laughed at (even when I could see them coming) but I truly lost it during Deadpool breaking himself on Colossus when he had broken both his wrists and said "Tyrannosaurus Rex was the most terrifying dinosaur!" (or something like that) Anyway, I think that watching it once isn't enough. I think I was the only one in the cinema who got the joke about Xavier "which one? McAvoy or Stewart?". I had to explain it to my friend. There was also a line about "Are you there, God? It's me, Margaret." I only managed to recognize this is a reference to something because I read xkcd. But I still don't get the joke. Edited February 22, 2016 by Oversleep

But I still don't get the joke. Oh, man, the McAvoy/Stewart line killed me. From the wind-up of the Colossus fight, when that line hit, I was doubled over in my seat with breathless laughter, tears ebbing out from the corners of my eyes. Context for "Are you there.." It's a book written by a popular children's author that's a bit controversial because it deals with the subject of a girl who starts menstruating for the first time. So it's basically a blood joke.

Kaymyth she/her
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA poor Cap! What's the mcavoy/Stewart joke? With the colossus fight I kept thinking of that joke "he was unarmed and de-feeted" Colossus says, "We're taking you to the Professor." Deadpool responds with, "Which one? McAvoy or Stewart? All these alternate timelines get so confusing..." Deadpool has no respect for the fourth wall.

Does that mean there are like, 16 walls? It's even more. He breaks a 4th wall to tell who he is living with, then in that break he breaks the 4th wall AND THEN he comments on him breaking 16 walls! He is commenting on him doing wall breaks! It's a meta 16th wall break! Edited February 22, 2016 by Oversleep
