DrakeMarshall he/him Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Well I mean considering how oppressive the nobles were, perhaps removing them had some justification. Mind you, one should still keep in mind that killing nobles wasn't what ultimately made life better for the skaa. But still. Its not like Kelsier had no good reason to kill the people he did.
Ari he/him Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Well, lawful evil people could be willing to kill someone they considered uninportant to keep order. The point of the original post was that by breaking the bond, the spike would become normal metal and the oathbreaker would die from having the heart impaled. EDIT: Above poster: I doubt a Skybreaker would do so, since a Radiant on the Death Row would be needed, and the Skybreaker would need to be legaly allowed to drive giant spikes throught people's hearts. Pretty sure breaking a bond wouldn't make the spike normal metal. It would just make it a spike imbued with a bond to a dead spren, rather than a bond to a live spren.

Ari he/him Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Well the interesting thing about a deadspren spike is that, so long as the power doesn't decay too much, you can always resurrect the Spren by committing to the Oaths. Unlike normal dead Spren, you have to let the spike run out of power to orphan one whose bond has been stolen.
