Hello! I am Alex Mulham, also known as Rapier. I am a superhuman, a relatively new phenomon in 1903. I work as a private eye in a shadier district of London. I do investigation, and can fight if needed, 'cause my powers are best suited for combat.

I charge a opening fee of 15 pounds, then 7 pounds a day. All travel expenses in a job are paid for by the client.

A bit about myself. I am English/French, grew up in Chamonix, moved to London, and here I am.

Powers..... I can take objects and increase their size and strength, while retaining previous weight. I do this to my rapier. As a side bonus, increased agility and reflexes is on the plate as well.

Well?

Lets have some Q's!

Are there hard limits to what you can do with your powers? Because I hope your rapier isn't a small needle whose size and strenght you increased.

Eventually, my rapier will get so big, I cannot wield it. And my rapier is a rapier.

what is your current view on the common man?

That they are slightly different, but we are all people.

Are there any gangs in London at the moment? Actually that's a pretty silly question. Of course there are gangs. It's London for damnations sake. What are the major gangs? Now that I'd like to know!

The Dreadnoughts are up there. A group of a mind controller, pyrokinetic, precog, and a ferro kinetic are the leaders. Many others work under them. Zeppelin is a aerokinetic who is quite powerful. But the most powerful are the Kaisers, who sponsor Germany.

I'm a little rusty on conversion rates. What are fifteen pounds sterling worth in 1903? If you go shopping with it, what can you buy? And how much does, let's say, a regular factory worker earn?

Were you ever part of his/her majesty's armed forces, and where (if ever) did you serve?

(in case reference is required)

So there are no hard limits? Can you break a wall by increasing the size of one of its bricks? Block a street with a peeble? Use a small piece of cloth you took from your pocket as a parachute?

I make enough to have a office to myself. I live relatively comfortably.

And no, I'm 19.

I have to have physical contact with the object, and spend several hours bonding with it.

Are normal people uncomfortable with your powers?

When your rapier gets bigger does it become more fragile or dull?

Do you have to maintain contact with a object to keep its new size or can you leave it alone?

When did you first take up detective work? Does anyone ever balk at hiring you because of your age?

I took up detective work a couple of years ago, and I don't share my age.

I have to maintain contact, people are uncomfortable, my rapier actually gets stronger.

When 'bonded' to an object, how long does this bond last? Do you have to maintain the bond in some way (repeated contact/proximity)?

What is your clientele generally like? More middle class or more upper crust?

What skills do you have to aid in investigation? Were those skills acquired through (formal) education or through personal experience?

At what age did you leave France and did you have another occupation before becoming a detective?
