TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 so are the energy weapons OK? I need to make sure. Which thread will they be used in, and what will they be used for? And what are the precise powers of this Epic?
Citadel16 he/him Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 1st question: Im working on it. 2nd: stormeggedons war against everyone. this will be used by her elite special forces unit. (whom the Hunter might be part of) 3rd: vanity is an epic who can create recharging energy cells and create illusions that are bound to mirrors. works for stormeggedon.

You're putting together a pretty rusting powerful team. Would they be in need of an agent in Salem?
Blackhoof Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think it would be better for the RP (as it is pretty crowded already) for Stormaggedon to mostly be working in an adjacent state, and just have some of her agents in Oregon for various reasons. Such as Ragnarok recruiting and such. Cause it sounds like you are building up to an apocalyptic invasion of some sort and I'm not sure we can fit that in at the moment aha That said, I suppose in limited amounts and with an Epic to charge them, some energy weapons like what Enforcement has would work fine. I guess whoever makes Enforcement's weapons can make enough fro other factions across the FSA too. Also EVERYONE, you know what I realised? Once we decide that we no longer need to be cautious about Calamity spoilers, we can use canon Epics as much as we like! Nothing further can contradict what we do!

Why are you just immediately going for the lynch on EVERYONE? He's a nice guy. BTW, I call Dawnslight.
Voidus Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Why are you just immediately going for the lynch on EVERYONE? He's a nice guy. BTW, I call Dawnslight. Dawnslight can't really do anything in Oregon
Voidus Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 He's been transported. That's one thing we know hasn't happened though.
Blackhoof Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Why are you just immediately going for the lynch on EVERYONE? He's a nice guy. BTW, I call Dawnslight. EVERYONE is suss as hell. You seen him/her post lately? NEITHER HAVE I Lurking is clear sign of being a mafia! (or whatever you guys call them in Sanderson Elimination, I only know Mafia ) 1
Master Elodin Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) Dawnslight hasn't? Huh? Why? Edited March 23, 2016 by Master Elodin
Blackhoof Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Cause in the events of the books he is at Babilar and has been since Calamity. At no point was he ever in Oregon.
Master Elodin Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) I know. He got 'ported by a good Epic. Her name is Location. This is not Calamityverse. Edited March 23, 2016 by Master Elodin
Voidus Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I know. He got 'ported by a good Epic. Her name is Location. This is not Calamityverse. Redeemed Epics are a rare resource and he has explicitly not left Babilar at any time. No but we still try to stick to canon as much as possible.

What, also for future references, is your take on a guy who generates and controls nanobots? named Professor Technovire what, for less future references, is your take on a guy named Dredgen Yor who can absorb your body and soul and use it to kill other living things in reverse tensor form and has thousands of voices screaming inside his head all fighting for control of his body and they sometimes win and act crazy(er). he can also disappear in even the lightest of shadows.

Fine it would seem 2. Umm.. a little too Obliteration

By RP hoppers, do you mean people who play in multiple threads, or play in multiple games? Either is fine. As an Epic power? That seems a little….farfetched. Why bother with the nanobots when telekinesis is a thing that exists? I'm with Elodin here. That seems a lot like Obliteration.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 maybe technovire could be just a technopath? really? in the whole "destroy everything" way or the "I kuckoo for cocoapuffs" way? Then that would mean nanobots have to exist in this universe, or else he'd have to use a different form of technology. Anyway, I'm not sure how I feel about technopaths. They can be interesting, but they could easily become story-breaking if they have the power to just waltz into town, drop the MONA from the sky, and turn every mobile in Thoughttown into an EMP. Both. And the ability to "absorb your body and soul" puts him squarely in OP territory, unless that was hyperbole and his powers are seriously nerfed.
Citadel16 he/him Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 he has to touch you in order to absorb you, absorbing your body causes him pain, high epics (for the most part) are immune to his touch. he is less like obliteration than you think. he more personality syndrome with like a thousand people in his head. he mostly just sits and cries, or laughs, until some poor fellow comes along to help. technovire cant make an emp. he cant because the nano bots run off of excess energy from his metabolism. he could charge them with other things, like batteries and the such, but an emp would be completely implausible for him.

None of that was evident from the information you originally posted. I'm not saying you have to post everything about a character at once, but I'm kind of feeling like you assumed I should've inferred it and are now pointing out how wrong I was.

I did not mean to word it that way and I am sorry if came across like that. I didnt mean to really discuss them in depth yet, and so didnt post very much about him. I just wanted to see what you thought of the idea so I could decide whether or not it was a good one. Edited March 23, 2016 by WarriorMark16

Edgedancer he/him Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Timeport post up, which I like to call "Timeport doesn't take the best course of action because plot he loves fighting too much to skip it." Please, if you think it fits him better, let him port into the building. The plot can manage.Apart from that nice post. I maybe should mention that the hounds had masks on to specifically hide the wolfish features Timeport noted but that's a relatively minor thing in the long run. On the RP hopper bit, it depends a bit on the details. Given that it requires some synching up between the locations just moving between locations once is no major problem but constantly switching and having a character effectively be active in more than one location at the same time is rather impractical.
