Vikro he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Does anyone have anymore thoughts about Pillowfight, or is he good to go? 1
The Swan Dragon he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Does anyone have anymore thoughts about Pillowfight, or is he good to go? I have a thought. SLUMBER PARTY *cough* Nothing. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Does anyone have anymore thoughts about Pillowfight, or is he good to go? Did you send a pm with the weakness to the GM in question?
Vikro he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 (edited) I have a thought. SLUMBER PARTY *cough* Nothing. Well, he does wear footy pajamas...And yea, Twi and I talked and got it approved. He's entering Corvallis, so should I send it to Comatose as well? Edited March 3, 2016 by Vikro

Clockwork he/him Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 It was a nice one, although I'm not sure if assuming they are ordinary people is the most loical conclusion after them ranging around and apparently having altered bodies. He's tired and not seeing straight because of it. Healing doesn't, it seems, help with sleep deprivation.
Voidus Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Shiny is a siscon!? Actually I don't know why I'm surprised. Here's the character she's based on Is that your own artwork? Looks really good.

RippleGylf she/her Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 So, I've been reading through Portland so I can adopt Candy flame... And it is absolutely amazing. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 So, I've been reading through Portland so I can adopt Candy flame... And it is absolutely amazing. When you get to the Lightwards/Funtimes/Nighthound street fight.... ...I regret nothing. 1
Voidus Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 When you get to the Lightwards/Funtimes/Nighthound street fight.... ...I regret nothing. Not even not killing Nighthound?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 Not even not killing Nighthound? Hey, it's not for lack of trying. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Hey, it's not for lack of trying. The only thing necessary for Nighthounds to triumph is for Funtimes' to not try to kill them at every opportunity. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 The only thing necessary for Nighthounds to triumph is for Funtimes' to not try to kill them at every opportunity. Theirs is a beautiful rivalry, like that between peanut butter and jelly in their eternal struggle for dominance. 1
Fatebreaker he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I'm not too sure on this but I was waiting for something on the Arsenal/Quicksilver front, with such a massive influence it's kind of hard to just write ahead since whatever happens next will likely be visible from most of the city. Yeah, sorry it's taken so long. Some of my professors are already giving midterms... I am working on it though... Really...
Kobold King he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Yeah, sorry it's taken so long. Some of my professors are already giving midterms... I am working on it though... Really... Professors have always held a certain enmity with this RP's participants, for some reason. 1
Fatebreaker he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Professors have always held a certain enmity with this RP's participants, for some reason. I tell them I'm working on a creative writing project, but when asked to explain I always lose them at "Literal carpet bombing"... 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 I tell them I'm working on a creative writing project, but when asked to explain I always lose them at "Literal carpet bombing"... It's a profound statement on the resourcefulness of American youth! A look at how one young woman, using only what exists at her fingertips, can....um.... Okay, okay, it's the most technologically elaborate pun ever. 2

"She stole her boyfriend from a casino where an evil precog was going to murder him. She turned the guy's gun into a hamster." "This sounds stupid." "She wears a brightly colored dress as a representation of the gender-fluid spectrum and her relationship with Nathan is a poignant deconstruction of traditional gender roles." "Exquisite. Tell me more." 6

"A symbolic representation of young people, rebelling at last against the ignorance of academia, are often forced to destroy a world that no longer accepts them as they are!" 6
Fatebreaker he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) "A modern reinvention of the superhero genre, focusing on the subversion of societies preconceived ideas on power and the individual. This cutting edge collaborative endeavor highlights the implied but unaddressed consequences of super "heroes" and displays brutally realistic characters that showcase every flaw imaginable. From serial sexual abuse perpetrators to narcissistic murderers, this brilliant satire of the golden age of comic heroes doesn't shy away from the dark underbelly of the world. Tossing aside gender stereotypes, narrative conventions, and even common sense, What Happened in Oregon is a story you wont want to miss!" Also there are dinosaurs. Fatebreaker he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 In other news I actually got a Quicksilver post up thanks to this surge of something I've heard referenced as productivity. What a strange feeling... 3
mail-mi he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 In other news I actually got a Quicksilver post up thanks to this surge of something I've heard referenced as productivity. What a strange feeling... That was awesome. Is it my turn in the actual bus chase?
Mckeedee123 he/him Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Summary of the situation in The Dalles so far: Arsenal: "I'm escalating the missile attack so that it's impossible for any metal manipulator to control it." Quicksilver: "I'm controlling the missile attack anyway." [repeat on loop] 3
