By "leaving the setting and characters fundamentally altered," Sanderson meant that the planet will explode. Calamity will be a certain presidential candidate most famous for the catchphrase "You're fired." The book will end with a massive dance party. The book won't end at all. Everyone was DEAD THE WHOLE TIME. 2

Voidus Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Running list of ways Calamity is destroying my characters: Epic twins have identical powersets, not different like Impact and MV which means they need to have their powers retconned or else I need them to secretly have both powers which means they're both some of the most overpowered Epics in the game.

Yeah you got kind of screwed there especially given that they'd still feel the pain so Impact should really be trying to slaughter MV and MV should be in crippling pain. Maybe one of them is secretly a clone. ...Actually no, sshe still would have the same powers. I on the other hand found out Voidgaze has to go on a diet, I think I got off easily. You have an advantage over me there then, I didn't have the time to read those yet. After the half way mark I'm still mostly alright on my characters, although just to be safe, Autumn may have to start demanding stripping sessions from Jack.

Still, lots more Epics to make now. Yeah, having something like Assumers is pretty darn hardcore.
