Speaking of whose turn it is, I tried writing a Taylor post, and at this point, she's just reacting to what's going on, and isn't ready to act yet. I think I'd rather wait for a Deathwish or Emma post to give Taylor a little more to go off of, and then give all of her reactions and actions at once. Also, random idea: would anyone be interested in some OOC fight scenes? I think we have some cool match-ups (both in terms of character and powers) that due to location or allegiance will likely never show up in the RP. Aside from my personal favourite, Shiny Sparkle vs Funtimes, I also thought that Bioterror and Taylor Swift might be a cool match-up, and I'm sure there could be other cool ones too. In other news, I have class work to complete tonight, but if I get it done in a timely manner, Rainmaker's nightmare is clamouring to be written .

Fatebreaker he/him Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I'll try and get a Quicksilver post up, maybe with a short bus scene as well, but it'll take time since I'll be gone this weekend. However there are other characters that could go, perhaps someone on the bus? perhaps a viewpoint from a guard who's following the bus? But I'll get to work soon as possible.

Yeah me too, there's a few active scenes at the moment so I don't think they're all just waiting on who's next I thought everything had just slowed a bunch. Shiny could meet her cousin finally. And together they can be barred from ever fighting female opponents.

Okay for Portland: The scene around Neverthere is waiting on the Electro/Timeort post. At the museum with Lightwards/Backtrack/MV the scene is waiting on Kobold. (Although, I think Kobold already lowered the museum, so MV could be the next to react.) (as a side mention, after this the clash with Chimera is next on Lightwards list) In the office of Thoughttown we're waiting on a Sam post to continue her conversation with Voidgaze. (after that the plan was to have Funtimes teleport them to Voidgaze's house to repair it. The conversation could be summed up or postponed until they moved there.) It hasn't really started yet then there's the Sightline, Murphy, MEE event, so you can start it in whatever way you like. Clarence is still on his own. I don't think any other story lines have really started yet for the day in Portland, although Corpsemaker's guys should still have orders they could follow.

Maybe Murphy could bump into Clarence on the way for some subtle interactions (Just walking past and causing him to trip over or something rather than any real interaction) but then I'm not sure how possible that is geographically.I guess I'll go next at the museum too then, though MVs most realistic reaction to a falling museum would be to freeze it and crater the earth under her when she shifts the momentum which is already impossible since the museum landed so I guess she was just surprised and forgot she had Epic abilities. It's been a weird few days so I'm sure we can all forgive her that.

So, yeah, I'm still a bit euphoric about the whole thing. Congratulations David, happy to have you on board! (For clarification, I was first thinking of David Tennant, because of the actor bit but then I realized that the Reckoners David is also an ascended fan-boy in universe. So there's my reasoning behind that joke. )

I know it's not "many", per se, but given the small amount of people who come into the RP, I feel like it's fairly substantial. There isn't a lot we can do about it. People join, life gets in the way….stuff happens. Most of those abandoned characters weren't too involved, so it's not a huge deal. In other news, Obliteration is writing Valentines now. 1

I know it's not "many", per se, but given the small amount of people who come into the RP, I feel like it's fairly substantial. I was really talking about folks like ShadowoftheSun, CarolaDavar, and Verdaka, who just completely disappeared after their first post. Edgedancer he/him Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 It must be frustrating to you that you invest time and energy into improving their characters, and then they just disappear without reciprocating your investment by making the story better. Instead, they just add more dead weight and loose threads to the RP topics. As I've said before, that's another reason why people should adopt Epics. If they leave, they've added something, reintegrated the character, and don't leave any dead weight in their wake. I understand why people want to make their own cool Epic, but when they become power sets instead of characters, and never go further than an initial post, it just gets frustrating. Still better than them writing just long enough to connect their characters with the actual story and then quiting but yeah it isn't exactly pleasant. Also Calamity tomorrow. 1
