Gold and Red vs. Blue and Gold?

Please bear with me on this.  I'm not sure this will end up making sense, but lets see where it goes.

At the end of AoL, when Miles about to be shot, he yells out "You are fools!” Miles yelled at the firing squad. “One day, the men of gold and red, bearers of the final metal, will come to you. And you will be ruled by them."

In the corrections to WoR, BS makes note to change the color of a dress the woman killed with Shallan's mother was wearing to Blue and Gold.

I don't have an e-book so I can't search easily search for references, but I believe the color combination of Gold and Red also makes an appearance in Stormlight.

Now I think it'll get a little convoluted.

With another Shard appearing on Scadrial, (Trell or otherwise) it would have it's own God metal.  That metal in theory would be the one that Miles is referring to, and with that metal, the colors Gold and Red are tied to it.  I believe it's fair to assume that the "Men of gold and red" are part of a World Hopping Organization, or at least led by a World Hopper who is working for a Shard.

Sanderson has gone back and made sure to lay evidence that the Woman killed with Shallan's mother was wearing Blue and Gold.  It could be nothing, but if so, why change it? Is it too much of a stretch to conclude that she is part of an organization that goes by B+G colors?

Now if G+R is working for a Shard, what Shard is B+G working for?

Also are they allies or enemies? And if they're enemies, will B+G make an appearance in BoM or does their story in somewhere on Roshar?

Thoughts?...if you've managed to follow my logic

I'd also like to point out that in Warbreaker, Lightsong's colours are red and gold.

Large spoiler for Warbreaker

Lightsong was also the one to sacrifice himself to heal Susebron and give him his tongue back, thereby saving Susebron, Siri and probably the rest Idriss.

Just wanted to let you know.

Red is connected to Odium, so maybe it has something to do with that? I have no idea what blue or gold could be.

It seems rather convoluted to have two opposing groups that share the color gold, especially if the colors are symbolic of something.
