Alomantisist
0k, so this is a question has been brewing for a while: Could brass Pheruchemists generate enough heat to light different substancestyles on fire? I'm really interested in your options, help me out with this!
Voidus
Probably but they'd also likely kill themselves if they did so. Welcome to the forums by the way!Can I interest you in a welcome-cookie?

Alomantisist
True. If the feruchemical power had to be distributed equally over their bodies it could lead to serious injuries. But what if say (on speculation of course since these powers have not been used by any major plot characters save in Alendi's writings) a brass ferring could concentrate the heat in their hands? And would the feruchemical power also grant them the ability to resist the heat that they create? (somewhat like tapping an ironmind grants a skimmer the strength to stand under their own weight)

(somewhat like tapping an ironmind grants a skimmer the strength to stand under their own weight) They probably could eventually if they practiced enough, I think Brandon's said that strength could be stored or tapped from only one area so should work for Brass too. They'd be protected against the direct effects so their skin wouldn't melt off but as soon as they set something on fire that's no longer a part of their ability and could likely still damage them. If you want to get into a more detailed discussion though I'd recommend making a topic in the Mistborn forums since Introduction threads are supposed to be spoiler-free.
