Blightsong he/him Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Well, I'm fairly certain he could have lashed to Honorblade up and gone after Szeth. While the Blade was powerful, Szeth`s information was probably more useful, especially as it was shown that a normal person with a Shardblade could be defeated by a Radiant. You need the eye of the storm specifically? I thought it was just about anything. Remember when Kal was in the highstorm in book 1? The sphere in his hand was only reinvested when he was in the eye of the storm. I'm also pretty sure that an Honorblade would be too invested to easily lash it. Things with investiture are much more difficult to influance with magic, and Honorblades are invested to the hilt (pun intended).

About Highstorms: But... when Szeth and Kaladin were fighting inside the highstorm (or was it the Everstorm? I dunno.) didn't Szeth recharge? I'm pretty sure he wasn't in the eye of the storm then. About Honorblades: Fair enough. Was it mentioned in Stormlight, or another Cosmere book? I've only read SA and Warbreaker, and am currently reading Elantris. Mistborn will be next.

It has been mentioned in various WoBThey weren't recharging constantly in the highstorm, and they were in the colliding storms, so the eye would look like a regular storm unless the middle of both storms were in the same place. Ah. And no, they weren't constantly recharging. I just don't remember it specifying anywhere that the EYE of the storm is needed to recharge. 2

Please fix that for me) It's what we have seen so far, so I would assume that it wouldn't change from what we have seen.

I would say that the eye is EASIER to recharge in, if that is indeed what has been shown. It's kinda baseless, though, so I'm not even going to bother arguing it.
