I just finished Shadows of Self...

Sazed. What are you doing?

That revelation at the end... before, I hated Bleeder. Now... just feels. I can't put my thoughts into words.

My response to that:

Poor Saze.  Poor Wax.  Poor everybody.

Wait a minute. That's the Greek letter omega.

Ω = Omega

But….but I thought he was a kandra who fashioned his True Body out of gelatin and half-baked pancake dough. Unless….

The conspiracy goes deeper than we thought.

Gotta be prepared for the zombie apocalypse.

Zombies just hate ranch dressing. :P

Yay! Any others on there?

Some I'm underqualified for, others I'm overqualified for. There were also a couple I'm qualified for, but since they're only part time, I wouldn't be able to support myself. But that's just the way things are when I look at job listings--of 100 listings, there'll be maybe 3 or 4 I'm qualified for.

If you're overqualified, why not just remove some things from your resume?

There are two concerns with that. One is that under the right circumstances, failing to report relevant experience could be considered lying to a potential employer, although most people who do it add experience they didn't earn, instead of taking it away.

The other concern is that, aside from usually not paying more than minimum wage, taking a job I'm overqualified for wouldn't give me the experience I need to advance in my career. It'd be a job, but that job wouldn't teach me what I need to know to move up.

Confession:

I have seen no Doctor Who.

I'm sorry.  I'm so sorry.

What happens when I'm on the internet for too long.

That might just be the cutest thing I have seen all month.

I've started  my latest reread of WoR. And i've started my latest interrupted sleep cycle. I'd forgotten just how GOOD it is!

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

I said the same thing to one of my friends when she said that she wished she could watch Doctor Who, but couldn't since her mom had watched one episode with her once, and it was one of the worst ones.

Unfortunately, it backfired on me. Instead of understanding the reference I was making, she said, "I don't want your pity."

*sigh* Non-fans and their understanding of references. <_<

Edit: . . . Okay, so that was a long post about basically nothing. Don't know where that came from.

Edit 2:

I've started my latest reread of WoR. And i've started my latest interrupted sleep cycle. I'd forgotten just how GOOD it is!

I fought my way through the endless rain and reached the bookstore to order The Black Prism, just because for some reason my subconscious has decided that I must read it.

Maybe I should say something about Doctor Who... I like Doctor Who, but I dont love Doctor Who, I havent watched the latest episode yet. I dont know what that has to do with anything, but thats a reply.

I'm currently doing my first reread (I'm such a poor Sharder, I know) of WoR and I'm the same way. Normally with rereads I'm not too engaged with them, just reading casually. But I have devoured all the Cosmere books over again when I started with Mistborn in September. I had figured WoR would at least last me the week but at this rate, I'm not sure if it will.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLACK PRISM YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly it is such a good series. almost as good as Sanderson. One of the best magic systems ive ever seen. Amazing author. Amazing world.

Also, when you get to Blinding Knife, so much crap happens. Plot twists, unexpected things, character development, all the stuff.

(Also, in BK there's a little bit of.... doin' the do, so to speak)
