Some SoS questions

Soo, after finishing the book there are still some questions left open for me.
I hope this is the right Place to ask for help understanding the book completly

1. What are the Creatures attacking Wax and TenSoon in the Kandra Homeland?
We know what hermalurgic spikes can do to you looking at the Kolosses. But these Manbeasts only had been spiked once

from my understanding of the scene but undergo an siminliar extreme transformation as the Kolosses.

Can anyone explain this to me? did I get the scene wrong?

2. So IS there ANOTHER God?
The unkown metal used by Bleeder is neither of the old nor the new god, at least by the Kandras explanation.
Masari draws the Connection to Trell, which is a god of Myth and Lunatics like Miles Hundretlives.
To interfere with Harmonys Powers, whoever did this has to be at least the holder of one shard,

and needs understanding of the given manifestation of investure on Scandrial which would imply he's around for very long.

So another God?
Old one, lurking in the Shadows or new One from somewhere in the Cosmere visiting?
Shardholder or another source of Power?

1. Nope you got that right, something weird seems to be going on there but we don't know what, I think someone popularized the fanon term 'howlers' for them but Brandon said he just calls them 'Hemalurgic chimeras'.

2. Brandon's said that Harmony is the only Shard on Scadrial at the moment so it's not someone who's been lurking there, most likely a Shard from elsewhere in the cosmere sending agents to do... something.

Top suspects at the moment are Odium and Autonomy (Bavadin) since Brandon said that we know the Shard that made the metal.

Chimeras has an interesting implication, which somebody seized on elsewhere, that they've been spiked with animal attributes instead of human ones. Spiking someone with an animal mind at the correct bind point, for instance, might do interesting things to their behaviour.

What we have confirmation of is that someone has brought an alien God Metal to Scadrial. To me, like Voidus suggests, that implies agents of another Shard interfering on Scadrial, but you can also argue that someone from Scadrial may have worldhopped to another Shard World and brought back some powerful investiture to make spikes out of. (There was some good speculation that Paalm might have been assigned to spy on Taldain, for instance) That said, it would be odd that Harmony would make such a big deal about the metal not being his if he had assigned Paalm to go to another world.

According to a WoB, someone asked him something about the Shard, and he wrote 'Rust and Ruin'. Perhaps Trell, the mysterious Shardholder, has the intent of Rust.

There's another WoB that it's from a Shard we know and we don't know any Shard called Rust, that also doesn't really fit with the other Shards which have all been emotions and intentions, rust is just a physical thing.

I think Brandon is increasingly getting "tell me about x" questions, and doesn't have time to look up things he can tell people easily. Technically pre-AoL "Rust and Ruin," would be something about Ruin that they we didn't know. *shrug*
