gjustice99 she/her Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Vin and Zane killing 300 men in 10 minutes (or some other short anount of time)
kinxer he/him Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Had to look up the reference... Alendi's journal?
Paragrin she/her Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 No to both. This depends heavily on the context of the quote. (No I'm not just plugging a favorite game series, why do you ask?)
Curiosity he/him Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Szeth. "The killings, the murder. He blinked tired eyes. SCREAMS." WoR, I-10
kinxer he/him Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 If this weren't Sanderson originals, I'd say good, ol' Lews Therin Telamon. Hrathen?
Paragrin she/her Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Nope. (And as I haven't read WoT, I have no comment.)
Bort he/him Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Elend, Vin, and exposing their army to the mists? ('Sirrus' or 'Cirrus' as it's spelt is a type of thin, mistlike cloud). 1
Paragrin she/her Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Fun, but no. The name, while not originally from the Cosmere, would fit in one of its cultures...
natc Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I thought these were supposed to be really dumbed down descriptions of things, not outright insane riddles T_T Is it Thrill-related?
Curiosity he/him Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) I googled the quote. It is from a Myst game. The context is one guy is writing in his journal. He has unjustly killed many people alongside his brother Sirrus. I can't figure out what it means, though... Edit: And now, as soon as I go away from writing this post, I realize that it might be Dalinar and Gavilar uniting Alethkar. Edited April 10, 2015 by Curiosity 1
kinxer he/him Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Um... Closest to the Herdazians? Unkalaki? (I thought I read somewhere there was some relation through their Listener blood) Or, geographically, Jah Keved?
kinxer he/him Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 The Parshendi? The Herdazians themselves (they ARE pretty close to one another, after all)? Mourn's Vault? Northgrip?
Curiosity he/him Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Not one of the sparking people themselves. Look at my second hint. I didn't say 70% of the way there...
kinxer he/him Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Rishir (the one of the ten Silver Kingdoms which covered Herdaz)?
Curiosity he/him Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 What I am thinking of is both a place and a person.
kinxer he/him Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) Are you saying the name can be used for either or that you're talking about a specific person being in a specific place? EDIT: Sadeas? Edited April 14, 2015 by kinxer
Curiosity he/him Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Sadeas. His land shares the most border with Herdaz (at least from what I can tell from the map of Alethkar in WoK.
