The pun seems to work in all/most of the Romance languages, so you can use those if you know them. It shows up in two Dan Brown books, where it is presented as an etymology. It's not. Unfortunately, no. I know only Slavic languages, not counting English. I'll wait for an explanation of the pun then, when someone guesses correctly
