Paragrin she/her
Nope to both. This goes through two terrible puns, one of which involves Latin. (Or any Romance language, really.) Edited March 15, 2015 by Paragrin
phattemer
Ok, so it's from Elantris, and involves a Latin pun. Ummmm, is it an Aon?
vineyarddawg
A terrible Latin pun? Semper ubi sub ubi. (Always wear underwear.) But seriously, I would say either a soulforger's stamp or an item/person who has been stamped by a soulforger.

kinxer he/him
I haven't come up with anything new yet, but I was under the impression Paragrin meant I was on the right track with the Latin pun, not the metals. Along those lines, is it a unique object, or something generic (like, for example, the metals we've been guessing)? EDIT: Wait, is it the Terris prophecy? Aleksiel
I don't know Latin, so I have no idea what the pun might be.
kinxer he/him
Malatium? Electrum? (Both based on "sin" = "without" and "seer".) This is what I meant, Aleksiel.
Paragrin she/her
It is a unique object, and kinxer's impression is correct (and they've got half of the first pun). The pun seems to work in all/most of the Romance languages, so you can use those if you know them. It shows up in two Dan Brown books, where it is presented as an etymology. It's not.
