Blackhoof Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Haha they'd have arrived about 7 years after the events we shall soon be RPing, unfortunately Edited November 12, 2015 by Blackhoof
Voidus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Haha they'd have arrived about 7 years after the events we shall soon be RPing, unfortunately Well it'd only take. *Puts on glasses and calculating expression* 49 years until we're caught up so if we're still going by then he can And who knows, Portland might have even moved forward a whole day in that time! EDIT: And I just realized I'm an idiot because I multiplied the 7 years by 365 then multipled that by the 7-days ratio then divided by 365 to get the number of years. Could have just done 7*7 and now my mental arithmetic is nowhere near as impressive. Edited November 12, 2015 by Voidus 1

(And autocorect wanted to say pleite, which translates to broke/poor. )On the news front MrMistborn Portland is open to vanilla characters again. Edited November 12, 2015 by Edgedancer 1
Voidus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 7*365*7/365 Expert mathsing Voidus! haha I kid, I kid I have a special kind of brain. Sometimes it does awesome arithmetic or problem solving, sometimes it makes me feel intense pain or does very stupid maths.
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I call it math. *waves American flag*
MrMistborn he/him Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Fun fact- on the UN national freedom index, Australia is actually higher than America. Eat yo damnation heart out 1

Voidus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Fun fact- on the UN national freedom index, Australia is actually higher than America. Eat yo damnation heart out We also have better maths scores. Unfortunately Germany beats us so I guess Edge wins that round. For now.

Voidus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Me and my friends have really good math scores. It's not my fault And it's not my fault that Australia's behind germany. Some men/women just want to watch the world burn. By which I mean they don't focus on the STEM subjects and do their homework. (You know who you are )

It's so annoying. 1
Voidus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Yes! This is so true. They don't care, because they think it doesn't apply to them. It's so annoying. I mean I kind of get it, some people just don't think they're a maths person, I didn't used to think I was a creative person, now I write regularly in a roleplay, am creating a game and doing artwork and am learning the piano again. People just limit themselves too much in my opinion. Which reminds me of something I wrote in Highschool on the subject of boring subjects. Voidus' Postulate: Any object, event or phenomena when examined closely enough becomes extraordinary. And also Voidus' Corollary: Any object, event or phenomena when examined closely enough is also gross.
Voidus Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Introducing: Australian!ShinySparkle! Now with water teleportation instead of sparklesplosions and a teleporter for hire who can be summoned by tossing gold bars into the oceans around Australia. (She's NPC so anyone else who wants to use her feel free, she takes offers in the form of cute young girls who she abducts and does... something with.) 1
Citadel16 he/him Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) Okay. this is the final draft for the Hunter. Mark Joshua West(though his name is unknown to almost everybody, so don't use it often. or at all even) aka The Hunter is among the most naturally intelligent humans in recent history. little is known of The Hunter except of his epic kill count of 23 and a few confirmed abilities. Very few people actually know that he is not an epic, but uses epic tech (which he does swap when it will give him an edge) his favorite weapons include a gun that fires "portal rounds" which can open a portal on almost any surface, and a personal single use force field that recharges every thirty seconds (quirk about the force field, as long as there is continuous damage, i.e. a building falls on him or he's on fire, the shield will stay up, then shatter when there is no longer any continuous damage being done). he also has some more plausible non-epic tech including curving bullets, grenades, HUD facemask and a UAF stealth drone with no fuel... yet. tech often malfunctions if used with other tech. if under constant damage too long, the shields will start to shatter randomly and will need to be repaired. portal gun is rather sturdy, though. he invents some of his own epic tech, often taking samples from living epics personally and experimenting on them in his personal hideout. (location: not telling) the rest he steals or buys using stolen money from epics and yes, he roams the world, taking down epics. underlined portions were edited Edited November 12, 2015 by warriormark16

I….I never thought I'd say this about a human character, but that's too OP. 83 Epics is a pretty high number, and although we don't know for sure how many Epics the Reckoners have killed, it's implied to be nowhere near that high. We know very little about how motivators work at this point, but they can't be easy to make, given that the Reckoners don't keep the genetic material of the Epics they kill but rather sell them on the black market. So one man experimenting on Epic genetic material on his own in a post-apocalyptic wasteland seems a tad implausible. I think a more realistic bio would put his kill count at more like 10 or 15 at the most, cut out the experimentation portion, and have him experience semi-frequent technical difficulties with his gear. If he's on his own, no matter how well he cares for his equipment, it's going to break down on him and he'll either have to rig up a repair or do without.
